Morning sickness

ok. I know there have been quite a few posts on it. Mine has been getting worse the further I go. I'm 6w2d. Was only nauseous in the mornings. Now it's all day and I'm running to the bathroom just to gag. It's terrible. I've tried all natural stuff, sea bands, etc. diclegis made me sicker. Now taking Phenergan. Not thrilled about it but I need to get through the work day and now I'm constipated. Ugh! Help!

Milk of Magnesia is safe to take while pregnant, just make sure you drink LOTS of water since MoM works by extracting water from your body to help you go.

But MoM will likely make you sick too because of taste and texture

  • Oh, no! When did the nausea start? I'm not experiencing that now, but I've seen a lot of ladies recommend preggie pops. I hope you find some relief!

  • I swore by Preggie pops and lemonheads. Anything sour helped with my nausea

  • Gin Gins (hard ginger candies) have helped me thus far and one of my friends who is pregnant said lemon heads were her savior for morning sickness.
  • NAusea started about 4 1/2 weeks @vinerie
I did buy Preggie pops but flavors are so limited. They do help though. I hate the taste of ginger so that's out.
  • I haven't had nausea this pregnancy, yet, but with my first - I really liked the hard candies at Motherhood Maternity. Foods that helped were salt-only rice cakes, pretzels, and plain rice.
  • I hear you in the morning sickness department. With my son, I never had an ounce of morning sickness, but this time it feels like anytime I eat I feel nauseous :-(

  • I hear you all. It's my second baby wk7 and I feel nauseous all the time. From 5am till I go to bed. Nothing seems to ease it...I know it will be all worth it in the end but I'm just miserable. My partner has been amazing taking our LO out and about to give me space. I just don't know how to cope in work or if I should tell my boss as it's getting worse. Any advice welcome :( x
