My p.o.s SO is drunk and partying with our neighbors downstairs that he became friends with tonight that are a bunch of middle aged women. He left his phone, left our door unlocked and left me with our 3 week old daughter. I'm so mad. I can't even call him to yell at him and I'm not taking my daughter outside in the middle of the night. Oh and he definitely left his phone on purpose because he came back up and grabbed his keys and tried to be sneaky and I said what are you doing and he knew I was upset that he was out drinking at some women's house that neither of us even know.just needed to vent ugh am I overreacting?

This would never happen in my house..just saying. DH would have one hell of an eqr chewing. If LO was asleep and my monitor would reach, id be banging down a door.

Thanks ladies! He is currently sleeping on the couch. He said he "forgot" his phone and was down there so long because he found us a dang realtor..? I don't care but he better step up and help out more or it won't be pretty.

I second the talk when he's sober. And whether he found a realtor or not, they aren't that hard to find and I would recommend not using one found at a party! Sorry your going through this! Def not right or fair.

I died over @kelseyrayay 's suggestion. I have to agree with her tho.

Then have a talk with your SO when he's sober. Because it definitely won't sink in while he's drinking. Sometimes a man has to let loose and have a dink or two, but not with other women, and not in the middle of the night, and not without his partner knowing. I'm not a fan of alcohol but things like this confirm why.

May I add not when he has a 3 week old, esp when (guessing based on how OP worded her post) his SO is a FTM! I'm a FTM and I certainly was in no shape to be home alone in the middle of the night with DS when he was 3 weeks.....
