Breastfeeding antics

DD has this habit of sometimes flailing about while she's nursing. She usually does it after eating on one side for about 10 minutes or so. Anyone else have a LO that does this? Any ideas why she does it?

    I have no idea why but sometimes my LO flails her arms. SO and I joke that she is conducting an orchestra in her head.

    When my LO does that it's because he has a dirty diaper. After I change him he chills out

    Exactly this. Took me some time to figure it out but once I did and he burped he went right back to nursing with ease.

    Yes to this! It's always either a burp or a fart and he's back to calmly eating.

    My LO sometimes flails before he begins nursing. He is showing me that he may be quite an impatient one! I started swaddling him when he does that. Anything to keep those arms/hands away din my sensitive nippies!

    DD flails when she's not feeling secure. If she's somehow shifted her positioning she's almost garunteed to flail about.
