DD has this habit of sometimes flailing about while she's nursing. She usually does it after eating on one side for about 10 minutes or so. Anyone else have a LO that does this? Any ideas why she does it?
When my LO is flailing during feeding (she gets both arms and legs going) I know its time to burp. Typically, once it starts ill sit her up to burp and we get a couple good burps out and she is calmed down after to be able to latch and not freak out on me. Lol

Exactly this. Took me some time to figure it out but once I did and he burped he went right back to nursing with ease.

Yes to this! It's always either a burp or a fart and he's back to calmly eating.

Thanks! Will definitely try this next time! What would I do without all my wise bump friends?
My LO sometimes flails before he begins nursing. He is showing me that he may be quite an impatient one! I started swaddling him when he does that. Anything to keep those arms/hands away din my sensitive nippies!
