Freaking out tonight..

I have had the easiest pregnancy ever. I have no complaints. This is my first and he is measuring perfect, all of my appts have been great. Sonograms are showing him growing good and normal, my dr told me he is in his 51% for size. I am 33 weeks yesterday. Today I worked (I'm a hair dresser and on my feet a lot, BUT my feet and ankles aren't swollen or hurting whatsoever, lucky like I said). I came home and went pee like I do 30 times a day, and I noticed that the toilet paper was yellowish. I thought it was strange but went about my evening, ate dinner with my bf and fell asleep for a nap. I woke up and went pee and same thing but noticed a mega amount of discharge. I've had discharge obviously but never as heavy as it is tonight. I started panicking more, because thats what I do. And in the last 45 minutes I haven't felt him move and that I KNOW I'm freaking myself out over nothing, but that's what I do. Make him move! Make my body stop being weird! What's going on with me? Also I did do some googling and there is no odor and there's not really much of a color so I don't believe it's an infection. Anyone have any answers for me? And any tricks to make this little guy move for me? How are you mamas keeping calm?

  • Drink some cold juice or eat something sugary and lay on your left side for awhile.

  • If you're worried ring your doctor asap, better to be safe than sorry.
  • yes call your doctor.  I wouldn't worry though discharge is normal especially as you go on further and sometimes baby is sleeping ...but call your doctor if you are worried!

  • Drink something really cold, eat and lay on left side as mentioned and if no movement call doctor or go to labor and delivery
  • drink some soda or wiggle your belly around.
  • Drinking orange juice works really well too! Good luck =)
  • Could be parts of your mucus plug, or it could just be increased discharge as your body prepares to give birth in a few weeks. As a comfort I can tell you I've had the same thing happening for about 2 weeks now. My midwife said its just normal to start as she thinks I will deliver early again, had my 1st at 38wks. I am also 33wks :) about getting the baby to move, drink juice and lay on your side. If you don't get 10kicks within an hour atleast once a day you should deff call your doc ASAP :)
  • I know it's hard but try not to freak out! I'm no doctor but I think you are more than likely ok. I get worried when I don't feel baby move too. Lay down, drink some ice water and place a wet rag on your belly. Baby should move sometime following! Good luck!
  • Start pounding cold juice and water, then lie down/sit down and chill. If you don't get movement call your doc.
  • I'm able to get my little guy moving by just finding his little body and giving him a nudge. I do that when I start feeling anxious about lack of movement.
  • Thank you for your input and help everyone! It helped :) dr says all is well. I need to control the hormones and stop over thinking!
