who cares?! ha! we were green for our first and i loved it! we don't have a ton of pink super girly things and the nursery is night and day themed so it will def work for number two as well! stick to your guns and enjoy the surprise!
Nope! Team green here too and I am already so happy with the choice. Plus I hope it deters people from buying clothes for the baby shower, I plan to get most clothing second hand.

I told everyone the sex as soon as I found out and I ended up getting everything PINK for DD's baby shower. She was drowning in pink. Pink blankets, booties, onsies, furniture, etc., It was a pink nightmare. I am finding out this time around only because if it's a boy I want to get more of a color variety.
All of our family members were annoyed with our team geen status with all 3 of our previous babies. DH is a physician and of all the births he has attended, the most exciting ones were where the parents didn't know the sex. He's tempted to find out for this one, but I told him no. FWIW, we were right with all 3 of our kids.
I don't think it's crazy at all! I'm still trying to decide if I want to know or not, this is my first and the idea of not knowing is exciting. I know DH wants to know, I'm thinking maybe the Doctor can put the results in an envelope and he can look and just not tell me. I've changed my mind about a million times about it lol.
My husband has 90% coaxed me into being team green! The devilish part of me is thrilled to see how crazy it will drive everyone when we finally announce
We were team green with DD and I recommend it to everyone! we will be team green again. We bought everything gender neutral and it was smart so that everything can be reused for this baby. It drives people nuts but you will get sooooo much after LO arrives in gender specific colors that it will be fine!
Before we got married, DH expressed his wish to be team green. It took some time, but I am fully on board now. We also found a fun theme that isn't typical gender neutral gray and yellow- Dr. Seuss. And, while my sister will go nuts not knowing, the rest of our family is thrilled that we are waiting.
We are team find out but probably won't tell anyone. My mom is actually really disappointed because she thinks delivery just won't be exciting if I know what to expect. Umm, I'll be excited to not be in labor anymore, have a healthy baby IN MY ARMS, and to just not be pregnant. I think team green is more common than we think, those mothers just don't go around screaming about the sex of their babies so we tend to not notice them. Either way, it's a baby - and it's going to be awesome to hold him or her in your arms rather than your belly.
I would prefer team green, but my husband wants to know so of course I'll let him find out, but I know he will not be able to resist spilling the beans. So I guess I'll just find out anyway. But no, I don't think you're crazy. I think the sex doesn't matter at all, and I'll be happy either way.
Not crazy! There are so few true happy surprises in life. So I am solidly in your corner. My MIL hates it but she spends to much $$ anyway so I look at it as a way to keep her shopping in check. Plus I just love mysteries!
I want to ve team green but WAY too impatient lol that being said I don't think it's crazy but I could never do it! I'm kind of jealous you can hold out that long. Lol maybe with baby two or three I will be able to!
We were team green with our first and it drove our family a little nuts. We accidentally found out about a week before the shower and I ended up telling folks. A word of advice if you want to remain team green remind your u/s tech every single time. I had weekly u/s because I was high risk and our tech was telling us about a possible kidney issue and said "but with boys it almost always resolves itself..." I kind of gasped a little and she actually burst into tears. I felt so bad for her and she apologized every time I was in until I delivered.
Re: team GREEN am I crazy?
