NBR - Show Me Your Mantel!

For whatever reason, I struggle to find the right decor for our mantel in the living room. I have decorated it and undecorated it countess times without finding anything I love. Do you have a mantel that you have decorated nicely? Post your pictures here so I can rip off your ideas ;) (please)!

    I started working on mine a couple weeks before LO was born so it's a work in progress still. The picture on the left does not belong there. My mil put it there while I was in the hospital... I'm looking for the perfect candle sticks for that side lol and the vase on the right is going to get flowers eventually.

    Mine is mostly a giant TV.

    Hahaha, ever since I took down my last round of decor this is what happens to ours too! Part of why I want it redecorated!

    Some candles, a bonzai and other small plants, photos, my undergrad degree. And TLC on the tv. All day long.

    Sorry it's a little dark. Picture from our wedding, the lanterns are from our wedding as well (they hung from the tree we married under), my grandmothers candlesticks, and a vase DH bought me for our first Christmas together. I change it up every few months.

    We wanted to mount our TV above the mantle but it was too big so we had to do some last minute decorations before our gender reveal party. Sorry for the terrible picture quality, DS is sleeping on my chest and I didn't want to get off the couch to get a good one.

    I have that exact picture in my bathroom... And if I remember correctly, we had the same wedding dress. Apparently we have similar taste!

    Our mantel is 100% bare unless it's Christmas time. Only because DH and I can't agree on how to decorate it. I'm projecting another 6 months of discussions before he says "I don't care anymore. Do whatever you want". #patientlywaiting

    You k ow it's been too long with out sexy time when the first thing you think of when someone says "show me your....." Is something dirty.

    That being said, mine has a picture of h and I and some black vases on it. Very simple, but it allows clutter to gather, mainly my laptop and I pad and now baby items
