Hey twin mamas! How are things going this week? I'm trying to think of some new questions. If you think of something great, post it!
1. How old are your gorgeous babies this week?
2. Any new milestones? What milestones are you most looking forward to?
3. How does it feel being back at work? Who watches lo's while you're away?
4. What is the best part of having twins? What's the most difficult?
5. What is the one product you couldn't live without? (Swings, bouncers, rock n plays, etc.) Did you buy one or two?
6. Anything else for us? Share any concerns or happy times with us!
7. Bonus points for a picture of your beautiful babies!
Re: Twin check in 9/4
2. A--smiles, laughs, and giggles all the time. He's close to rolling over. Last night, he squirmed around the crib and was 2 feet away from where we put him. J--starting to smile and giggle. She does it a few times a day. She chews on stuff all the time, and she seems very curious about her surroundings.
3. I feel kind of weird saying this, but I'm so happy to be back at work. Even though I only get to hang out with my babies for a few hours a day, I enjoy those few hours so much more. It's hard work caring for 3 babies all the time! They got to an in home daycare, and they get lots of love there.
4. The best part is that they are each other's best friend. They soothe each other. Mine sleep sooooooo well in the same crib together, and they self soothe. Getting them to bed is so easy, and I think it's because they have each other right there.
The hardest part is when they both need held and only one person is home. I am trying to figure out tandem baby wearing, but it's not easy.
5. We use lots of stuff, but I can't say there is anything I couldn't live without. My breast pump, I guess? Lol. We have one swing, one bouncer, 2 boppys, a twin z pillow. We use all those things a lot. We used 2 Rock n plays every day for 2 months, now we just use those when we travel.
6. My babies aren't good with neck strength yet. They are getting there, but there is no way I could use a bumbo seat yet. It's hard not to compare milestones, but I know every baby is different in their development.
2. Any new milestones? What milestones are you most looking forward to? They're starting to giggle a lot more. They smile all the time. They coo and talk to us. I just love this stage! I'm looking forward to them being able to sit up.
3. How does it feel being back at work? Who watches lo's while you're away? I HATE my job, so I hate being back at work. I could easily be a SAHM. My dh and I were able to adjust our schedules so I work when he comes home. 3 in daycare was my whole paycheck.
4. What is the best part of having twins? What's the most difficult? The best part is they'll always have a best friend. Plus, it's double the love and cuddles. It's watching 2 people grow, and seeing how similar or different they are. The hardest part is when they're crabby together, especially at night. They usually do really well in their swings, but sometimes they just want to be held. It's hard when I'm home alone with all 3 kids, trying to hold the girls and pay attention to our 3 year old ds. Plus breastfeeding twins. It's so much easier when dh is home to help. As hard as it can be, it's totally with it for me.
5. What is the one product you couldn't live without? (Swings, bouncers, rock n plays, etc.) Did you buy one or two? Our swings have been life savers! There's been nights where the girls won't sleep unless they're in them. Bought 2, and don't regret it. We also bought 2 rock n plays, a twin z pillow and a double stroller. We have one exersaucer and one jumper from ds we will reuse. Our double stroller gets tons of use, so that's a life saver too.
6. Anything else for us? Share any concerns or happy times with us! Our girls actually do really well with neck strength. I'm impressed, but their brother did really well very young too. I just wish they'd go back to sleeping through the night. They quit that 3 weeks ago when I went back to work. It's been rough working on very little sleep.

1) a joovy twin roo stroller frame for use with the car seats. We don't use this as often as I thought we would, but it's nice when we just want to pop the car seats in and go.
2) a side by side (britax be agile double) that we use a lot. I knew we'd use it, but I thought it would be later on when they sat up more. It reclines, though, and they are comfy in it.
3) a Bob revolution double that I got at a garage sale. This was my third stroller purchase, and we haven't used it yet. DH and I are both runners, so this will allow us to run with them if we want to. Also it seems great for off road use, so even if we don't jog with it I think we'll use it a lot next summer.
1. My girls will be 4 MONTHS in 10 short days! I can't even fathom this...
2. As far as milestones, they've been smiling and laughing for a while. We can sit up with support. They're still not reaching for toys or rolling yet
3. Being at work isn't tooooo bad. I would prefer part-time to see them more. But our friend is a SAHM so she watches them everyday for us. I love knowing they're who they're with everyday and they can play with her 2 girls too!
4. I seriously love having twins. Singleton moms would probably think I'm crazy. But they're just so much fun and seeing their different personalities coming out is amazing.
5. Bouncers and boppy pillows are my lifesavers!! The bouncers keep them happy for hours and the boppies allow me to feed them both at the same time!
6. Not much else going on, other than one girl is now in 6 month clothing!
7. Here's their most recent picture!!
1. My girlies just turned 3 months today. I can't believe it's been that long, and yet it feels like forever since they've been born.
2. They're hitting different milestones at different times. One rolls over every time we put her on her tummy and is really close to rolling from her back to her front. The other is smiling every second and giggling all the time and has always had better head control. They're going to be very different growing up I think.
3. I stay home and work from home with a special needs girl. It's very busy but she's only at our house for 48 hours so I get some "quiet" time the rest of the week. It makes things right financially but I wouldn't have it any other way.
4. The best part of having twins is loving on both of them. Two to kiss and two to love. The hardest part is the night. They don't wake on a schedule and even though I have a super hubby who takes one every night I still feel like I get no sleep! Here's hoping that changes.
5. I don't have doubles of anything. I LOVE my double stroller, it was such a great purchase. I have a baby gym that's big enough to fit 2 under so that's been so great. The hubbs made it so I can hang my own toys from it and switch it up for them. I'm glad i had a ton of clothes because I go through a lot of baby clothes!
6. I've been enjoying watching them start to interact with each other. They don't seem to have much of a twin bond; they don't care to sleep next to each other or look at each other. But lately I've noticed them scooching towards one another or holding hands. It melts my mom heart!
2. Any new milestones? What milestones are you most looking forward to? They coo and smile. Looking forward to them sitting up.
3. How does it feel being back at work? Who watches lo's while you're away? I go back September 15. Not liking the idea. Mother in law n hubby will be watching them.
4. What is the best part of having twins? Double the love. They grow up together. What's the most difficult? When they both cry and I'm home alone.
5. What is the one product you couldn't live without? (Swings, bouncers, rock n plays, etc.) Did you buy one or two? Swing n Boucer. I only got one of each. They take turns on the swing.
6. Anything else for us? Share any concerns or happy times with us. Love watching them interact with one another. They always look for each other's hands.

1. My girls will be 4 months on Tuesday!
2. Smiling, laughing, rolling over and babbling/mocking mom and dad. We're starting cereal soon too. My girls are always so hungry so hoping this will help.
3. I love being back to work. I am not currently out to be a SAHM. Between my husband and I and our family that's how the girls are taken care of.
4. The best part of having twins thinking that they will have someone to share everything with growing up. I think it would have been to cool to have a twin sister!
The hardest part is being by yourself. When it is my husband and I, it is so easy but doing like bedtime stuff is rough. Thankfully my babies are awesome sleepers and go to sleep pretty easily and sleep between 8-12 hours a night woohoo!
5. We could not live without our swings. After they wake up in the morning we feed them and they nap another 2-3 hours in the swings. So glad we bought 2!
6. Is anyone using the bumbo seat? I've heard so many good and bad things about it I'm torn. My girls really want to sit up more and I don't know what else to use, suggestions?
7. Here are the girls before our nightly walk.....no too enthused lol. Most recent picture.
