Baby sleeps so much!

My baby girl will be 2 weeks Sunday and I swear she sleeps close to 20 hours in a day!
I have to change her diaper at night to get her to wake up and eat every couple hours. And during the day she just wants to sleep most of the time. I can get her to do belly time for a little bit of the day though but she doesn't like it to much on the mat.

Yep, I agree, enjoy it! Totally normal for them to sleep that much in the beginning then one day it is like BAM they are just awake a lot more (and for some, they cry a lot more). Soak up those baby cuddles now while you can get them

Lol yeah what they said enjoy it while it lasts! Which was about for only 2 weeks with my LO now he stays awake like he's working 9-5 literally stays up for 6-8 hours at a time! Only time he sleeps during the day is when we're not home, go figure!

What is this sleep you speak of lol. My lo sleeps wonderfully at night but fights me during the day at nap time. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Mine sleeps from 7 am until 10:30 am like clockwork. Other than that it's just fussing and cat naps

I agree, don't worry, enjoy it! My little Man was like that for the first two and a half weeks and then bam... growth spurts! During the day he's clingy, hungry, and weepy. I cuddle him and feed him most of the day it seems like!
