Clomid and menstrual cramps

Anyone experience severe menstrual cramps after being on Clomid? I was on 50 mg of Clomid last month. Cycle ended with a bfn. I'm now on CD 3 and experiencing horrible cramps. I usually don't cramp on cd 3. I'm starting 100 mg of Clomid tonight and worried it's going to make my cramps worse.

I should also mention that I had an ultrasound yesterday and the tech saw a fluid-filled sac next to my ovary. I heard back from the nurse and she said the doctor wasn't concerned. She said it's not a cyst and sometimes this happens during menstration.

Any insight would be helpful.

I feel like my period after my clomid bfn was heavier and I crammed much more than normal! Not sure about the fluid filled sac but I hope it's nothing!

@alexiskiriluk thanks for your response. It's good to know that someone else has experienced bad cramps after a Clomid cycle and it's not just me.

I'm not one for cramps, but Clomid sure did me in. I think it was the worst fertility drug I had to take! Mega cramps.
