Possible Preterm Labor

I was having a lot of contractions earlier and monitored myself at home after speaking to midwife. After having 14 contractions within 45 min I called my midwife and She sent me in for monitoring. Now I'm hooked up to the monitors which confirmed I'm having consistent contractions (about 1 every four min. lasting approx 1min each). Needless to say I'm slightly nervous! If you ladies could pray that baby will stay put I'd appreciate it (I'm only 31 weeks)! They are likely going to give me something to stop the contractions, just waiting to see... Will post updates.

I hope that baby decides to stay put! Try to get some rest (I know nearly impossible when you are freaked out and hooked up to monitors with people poking and checking on you)

Keeping you and your LO in my thoughts. I hope they can get your contractions under control and you can get some rest. I know with DD when I had a similar issue they gave me an ambien to help me sleep.

I had a preterm labour scare at 27 weeks. I overdid it and was dehydrated. My contractions were 18-20 minutes apart for nearly a day and a half!
Hopefully they can stop your contractions and get you home asap. Remember to take it easy!

Swab test negative, phew! They are giving me medication to stop the contractions and sending me home... If they continue tomorrow I'll be back :-/

Had the same scare at 27 weeks due to fibroids. I was admitted and given lots of meds and two shots in the butt to mature his lungs. I'm 29 wks and he's doing fine.

Best of luck and hopefully they got the contractions to stop and your LO can stay in for a few more weeks!!! On the bright side at least you get to go home!!
