Something Nice for Partner..ideas?

It's my fiance's 26th birthday this week and I really want do do something sweet/ romantic for him. I've been so irritable and sick lately that I think he's feeling a but unloved. Anyone have something that they've done in the past or have thought about doing that they could share?

  • If you're thinking sweet and romantic, I highly recommend the Dating Divas website (just Google that name). They literally have tons and tons of date night ideas, family ideas, and most important, sweet and romantic things. Most of their ideas come with free printables that you can make adorable stuff with (a few really nice ones cost some money but trust me, there's tons of great free stuff if you don't want to spend anything). My favorite is their different intimacy games. They basically take regular games like spin the bottle, matching, and Deal or No Deal and make them sexy!! The greatest thing is that they have something for every kind of man. I highly recommend checking them out! I made one of those date jars with a bunch of their ideas :)

  • I'm a cheesy gift-giver. DH got a couple of comic books and a big heart on the bathroom mirror made from post it notes, each with a different reason why I love him. Now I have to check out the dating divas website!
  • I had a similar feeling about hubby feeling a little unloved because of all the mood swings etc I would recommend just showing him some love & care on his special day :) maybe make him a nice breakfast in bed, buy tickets to a concert/sports game he likes, do your hair/makeup show him you still want to wow him ;)) Little things make all the difference :)) good luck
  • @amadorrose yes the Dating Divas definitely have lots of cheesy ideas, too! I like to be cheesy sometimes but I also like that they have stuff that's not. Like I said before, it's a great mix of stuff for everyone!
  • Thanks for the ideas :)
  • I second Dating Divas. I did their world of dates printable for my husband for our first anniversary. He almost always plans our big dates, so I planned an itinerary of one date for each month based on a country (beers, brats and Octoberfest for Germany; wine, cheese, baguette and Ratatoille for France, etc) and then printed his passport to have "stamped" each month. Super cheesey but he loved having a year off of planning our "big date".

  • I love to make a box of a bunch of things that he likes. Like food/treats that he wouldn't normally get, some cute socks for work, mini bottles or small bottles of his favorite booze, the fancy shaving cream/hair products he is into... okay, it sounds like he is kind of metro haha but you can go with whatever your man is into! I just think it's fun to pick out a bunch of little things (and you could put some bigger things, too!)
