coolest website for caffeine amounts!!

So, I'm not overly worried about coffee and this pregnancy, but was still curious as to if I had to go half-caff on some stuff. I stumbled across this website while seeing how my iced hazelnut from Dunkin Donuts rated. Since I usually get for medium of most every drink I get from DD or Starbucks, everything I typically drink comes in under the 200mg limit. Score!!

Here's the Starbucks breakdown and the Dunkin breakdown. They have many others too.

Re: coolest website for caffeine amounts!!

  • Caffeine would be the least of my worries....I think the sugar content and artificial flavoring is worse for you than the caffeine in one coffee drink. Just my 2 cents.

  • I just know a lot of people are asking about can they still drink their favorite coffee, etc. and thought they would appreciate the info. :)

  • Thanks for posting it! I was wondering about my sugar free Red Bull. Good to know I can still drink the 8.4 oz.  :)

  • I appreciate this info! I may or may not be visiting Starbucks for a java chip frappuccino a couple times a week... :D :x

Very interesting. I didn't realize some of these were so low (I drink a Cafe Americano from time to time and I thought my days drinking those were over).

Have to agree with a PP about the sugar in some of these drinks being worse than the caffeine, though! I was at Einstein's the other day getting a decaf coffee and they had a chocolate chip coffee cake for sale that had 895 calories. Yikes!!!

In case you didn't know drinking Redbull can cause fatal heart arrhythmias. And sugar free means it's loaded with aspartame which is considered carcinogenic. I would reeeeeally rethink that drink choice.

Aww womp womp. :( It's been awhile since I have been pregnant. Thanks for letting me know. It looks like I'm sticking to ice coffee now.
