Dr Browns, Avent, or Tommee Tippee?

I used Dr Browns bottles with my last two babies and I hate cleaning all the parts. I'm looking to buy new bottles that work good for colic like Dr Browns, but don't have so many parts to clean. What brand are you using?

  • There have been a number of posts on bottles, here's one of the threads. You can find more using the search.

  • I used tommee tippee closer to nature with my last two (didn't have them with my 1st) and I can't recommend them enough & have already bought them again for this little one :) I did try other bottles with my last as they came recommended and helped with colic etc. a total waste of money and baby never took to them! Some silly shaped nipple etc - anyway she lived closer to nature and never really fussed about the switch from bottle to breast as I was combination feeding. My son was the same too and he had feeing issues. They aren't that expensive and are brilliant. That said its trial and error until you find something your baby is happy with! Good luck x
  • I'll probably be using avent bottles again. My first two didn't care what brand but avent was the only ones my third baby would take. So I'll just stick to that.
  • I'm a FTM, but for some reason tomee tippee bottles facinate me.
I work in a restaurant some parent left their tommee tippee (since I have baby otw I scoped it out) I don't even want to look at another bottle...
  • I used tommee Tippee bottles and loved them
  • I used Tommee Tippee with my son, but I did feel like the nipples would fold in on themselves frequently. I think they have redesigned them since so maybe they are better now. I did love the size and shape of those bottles though. I tried Dr. Browns glass bottles but I didn't like the glass or all the pieces. I love the avent natural flow bottles and it's what I've chosen to use this time.
