My LO is 6 weeks old & this has become his thing... He still latches & sucks well, but what the hell?? So annoying!! Anyone know what this is all about?
Ours will be 6 weeks on Friday and does the same thing. I usually take him off and he burps. He also will pull on and off on my nipples kind of violently. It's so annoying and hurts!!
@ecloho I feel like our little ones are right on track with each other. She was doing this last night. She'd pull off, grunt, and kick. I just tried to stay patient and calm but it was a bit frustrating. She also is pulling my nipple with her. She can't decide if she wants to eat or not. I just end the feeding until she's ready again to allow both of us time to chill out. I think last night it was more about comfort than being hungry.
Mine does this because my milk let down isn't fast enough, she especially gets mad at the end of the day when she is a bit more fussy. Her growth spurts were the worst!
Mine does this when let down is too fast....or not fast enough....or when she has to burp...or when she has to fart....or sometimes I think just because she likes to play games. 7 weeks old.
Mine does the same thing when she has to burp/ pass gas or uncomfortable. I end up unlatching her and sit her up until she calms down and then put her back. Evenings are struggle as well due to colic and it's hard to be patient at that time...lately I've been taking her for a walk and this seems to help for now.
My LO does this. He is 2mo usually means gas or the milk hasnt come down yet. He gets pretty upset. He also does this when he is extremely sleepy. He cant decide if he wants more or is ready to rest. I admit it can be annoying but he has no other forms of communication but crying and body language.
Mine has been doing this a lot lately...and I can't figure out why?! It's driving me crazy. I don't think it's gas, when its gas she just scrunches up and passes it. A let down issue??
Mine does the same but I realised is because she wants me to walk! Super annoying I must say because being my second child, nursing time was the only time when I could sit down and relax!
Re: Wiggling arms & legs & grunting while breast feeding??
