Bleeding after Pap smear

I just had a Pap smear today and right after I started bleeding. Is this normal and if so how long will it last?

    I am not trying to be rude, and maybe its my hormones, but if this started RIGHT AFTER, and the dr didn't say anything, I would assume its ok. Also, if it started in the dr office, why not ask when you were there?

    My doctor warns me about the potential for light spotting after every pap -- nothing to do with pregnancy. And I'm not sure anyone will be able to tell you how long your spotting will last.
