Drooling?

My LO is now 2 weeks and just had tongue tie revision surgery. Now he is drooling and blowing spit bubbles. Wasn't sure if it was typical to start drooling at 2 weeks or assume it's related to his tongue tie revision. Didn't ask pediatrician yet (appointment tomorrow for weight check) just wondering if you all have some insight? Today my mom seemed to think it was unusual at this age.
