So at my private ultrasound, at first the baby had her legs crossed, and then the umbilical cord Was between her legs, and after I turned on my side she had her ankles crossed. so the technician couldn't get a clear shot of the her parts and after of what seemed like forever of getting her to move so she can show us her parts she finally said that she was defiantly a girl because of the "3 lines" in the pictures that were given to me I see the tree lines but they are very blurry and I don't see the legs in the picture. I had a gut feeling I was having a boy, and not that I'm not happy but I'm in denial that my baby is a girl. Could the technician be wrong?
Re: Is it possible that the u/s technician got the sex of my baby wrong?
They aren't suppose to make good guesses. They aren't suppose to tell you if they aren't absolutely sure. Like PP said, you could go to a boutique type place to verify.
My dd was giving us a show at her ultrasound and it was apparently very obvious that she was a girl, but looking at the picture I couldn't have told you she's a girl. This time we are having a boy and he was super shy, but once we got a peek it was super obvious.
I'm also not sure if it's true that the ultrasound tech can't say anything if they don't know for 100% sure. May vary from hospital to hospital.
Oh well,at least she's modest! :'D
