Hi ladies. I searched on here but didn't find what I was wanting to know so I hope you guys can help. So I have hypothyroidism for a while now and have been on meds to keep it in line. Since I have gotten pregnant my levels have been all out of whack. My doctor has changed my dosages a couple of time now. Well the question I have is I read that it can cause brain development issues and cause lower IQ and possibly having to be held back in school. Any STMs out there had hypothyroidism with previous children and experience any developmental issues with their children? I am taking my meds and just concerned bc it's not leveling out right that it may cause issues and I want my baby to have the same opportunities as others and don't want my thyroid to cause him any issues.
Re: Hypothyroidism question for STM
ETA: words are hard
I'm a STM and my levels had to be adjusted my entire first pregnancy and the same so far with this one. My DS is 18 months old and has no developmental problems. I worried with my first also!
