Mums who had their EDD moves because baby was measuring "big" (not GD)

Was your baby spontaneous so you weren't sure about you lmp? How many days did it shift? How much did your baby end up weighing in the end? Full disclosure: this baby was a surprise so I wasn't tracking anything. When I went to my first prenatal appointment I assumed I was the usual 7/8 weeks but my dr did the ultrasound and was like uhhhh... more like 15 weeks lol. My EDD was based on the size of the baby and when I assumed my lmp was supposed to be. My last baby I could tell you the exact minute I started my lmp because when we decided to try I needed to know everything and make adjustments if I didnt get pregnant. My son was 9lbs14oz when born so I'm not concerned about pushing out a big baby and I don't think she is per se, and I don't have gestational diabetes or anything like that... so Bumpies why would she tell me baby was measuring large unless I'm about to birth a giant lol

  • They didn't move my due date and up until my last appointment everything was measuring right on point. Therfore at my appointment my doc measured me and said within two weeks I've jumped to measuring a week and a half ahead then she said I still have the chance for of carying for 7 weeks as ftm are know to deliver a bit later.

I feel Im about to birth a giant too. I have also noticed in the past couple of weeks how different I've been feeling in mobility, pressure, my vagina!!!

Here's to hoping we have 8 pound babies :)
