There are LOTS of "ranting" or "drama" posts lately. I know we are all very hormonal as we are reaching the end of our pregnancies but honestly, to distract myself from these LONG weeks, I just think about food.
Lots of places have Taco Tuesday's SOOO today my motivation is TACO's for dinner!!! My mom is coming to visit tomorrow and helping me deep clean our house and prep some meals for post baby. I keep trying to make plans and have things to look forward to.
What other fun things are helping you through?!? I'm always looking for things to add to my list!
Re: Taco Tuesday - A FUN POST :)
Dang, now I want Tacos! What's getting me through these last few weeks are
a) my shower coming on Sunday,
b) the lovely pedicure I had done on the weekend and
c) the high probability my DH is FINALLY getting a job after almost 2 years on unemployment!!!
Looks like a full year Mat Leave is in store for me! HURRAY!
5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD.
3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.
I just ate a burrito bowl. It was amazing.
It's supposed to be in the high 70s this weekend. I have never been more excited for fall weather. It's all I can think about!
What's getting me through is my obsession with thinking about songs to put on a labor and delivery playlist. I always always always have music playing no matter what I'm doing (except sleeping). So I feel like I want to create a really great playlist for labor and delivery. Every song I listen to lately I think about if it would be good or not. Weird I know.
That and thinking about being able to sleep normally soon and wear my regular clothes again just in time for fall and winter.
Money is tight right now so we can't go out much but I think we will be going out for dim sum again soon and I love me some Sunday morning dim sum!
I found this on Pinterest a while back and it's been a go-to in my house ever since. Super easy, delicious chicken taco recipe for the crock pot. Perfect for moms with newborns since it pretty much cooks itself.

@sjembry93 Happy birthday!
I would loooove a taco (or tacos) right now! I brought a lunch to work today, but it sucks. Tacos and a side of mexi-fries...mmm.
Mmmm Tacos! Chicken fajitas are on the menu plan for tomorrow so I'll just have to wait
but I'm so excited that DH is going to get all the baby stuff down from the attic this weekend. At 35 weeks I finally feel like it is time to obsess about getting ready for baby.
Rachel and Jeff Married 5.29.05
Jason is 8
Elizabeth is 6
Katherine is 18 months
I'm having fun planning my daughter's newborn photos! I'm so excited about them!
And of course, football season has started and my family's fantasy league starts this week. Also, I'm having a baby shower at my church next weekend.
Finally went with DH to look at baby things and decided on what we wanted but still have not purchased said items. Good thing though because DH is very calm and laid back about everything and I was starting to panic the closer it gets to due day.
Also adding that we did make one small purchase while @ Target... I usually bring something into the delivery room to be my focal point to concentrate on while in active labor. With DD we had a framed picture of my other 2 kids (to remind me that I had done it before and could do it again no matter how much it hurt). DH picked up this small pinata and half jokingly said "here's your focal point" I lol'd then said "it's perfect!" I thought it was silly but also very very sweet of him. :x
I love tacos too!
Positive fun post, submitting my Two Week Notice TOMORROW 10 days left of work unless baby decides otherwise
I'm so excited :-h
