Sex after miscarriage

Sorry if this is TMI. It has been about a month since my miscarriage and my husband and I haven't had sex yet. I just can't. I get really emotional. Last night we tried but every time he'd run his hand over my stomach id just get so upset and long for what is not there. Anyone else struggling with this?

    I'm less then a week post D&C so I haven't been cleared to have sex yet. I know that I'm not yet ready to think about sex between worries about physical pain and struggling with the emotional aspects. I think it just takes time and everyone is different. I'm so sorry for your loss, hugs to you.

    I had my mc in April... Still don't want my husband touching my stomach. We had sex I think a week or a week and a half after it happened. I cried after. Just so many emotions.

    I remember having a very hard time having sex after my mmc 2 years ago, but I remember it really helping me heal. It allowed us to connect again.

    Agree with the pp about sex helping to connect again.... Sounds kinda weird, but true. Take your time and when you feel up to it; then let your hubby know. It's a hard road, but hopefully he's patient. We just had sex yesterday - a little over 2 weeks after my mc. I had a couple glasses of wine to help move things along. We are very eager to try against on though.
