This post is for people who's change day is Tuesday. (That's for anyone due September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th.)
Copy and paste the following with your own answers.
Week/Fruit: Baby's here! 2 weeks old
Symptoms: soooo tired
Cravings/Aversions: cookies
Gender? Girl, Lucy Grace
GTKY: What are your plans for maternity leave? Does your SO get to take any leave? I'm a teacher and am not going back until after Christmas, which is costly, but worth it. I'm so lucky that my husband can take off 3 1/2 weeks. It's been essential having another grown up here to deal with both girls while we're all still adjusting.
Re: **Tuesday Ticker Change**
Symptoms: tired, sore, and super grouchy. Especially today-had an appointment(due date is today) and there's no change! No more thinning and absolutely no dialating. Boo! Talking about induction next week.
Cravings/Aversions: none
Gender? Adalynne Jane
GTKY: What are your plans for maternity leave? Does your SO get to take any leave? Im a hairstylist and will be going back beginning of November. I just plan on spending as much time with her as I can. As for my hubby- he's a farmer so doesn't take a leave but plans on shortening his hours as much as he can (fruit and vegetable farmer= busy busy time!) to come home and be with our baby girl.
Symptoms: Horrible pelvic pain, crankiness, and lack of patience for stupidity!
Cravings/Aversions: Ice and cheese
Gender? Boy, Brady Sullivan
GTKY: What are your plans for maternity leave? Does your SO get to take any leave? I'm a SAHM with our 20mo so that doesn't really apply to me. However, my hubby is taking a week off when Brady is born and my sister is taking my toddler to her house so I can heal and adjust. Then when the hubs goes back to work, she's going to come stay a week with us so I can adjust to being a mommy of 2! It's a frightening thought sometimes.
Symptoms: contractions here and there, back pain, basic aches and pains and super emotional because I don't want to be pregnant anymore!
Cravings: crushed ice
Gender: boy, Camden Marshall
GTKY: I'm a stay at home mom with my 3 1/2 year old and will continue to stay home with this one. Husband only gets one week off with us.
Symptoms: I feel great - unfortunately! I was far more miserable at the end with my first. I've had mild contractions here and there for almost two weeks now. I do have to say despite experiencing very little discomfort at this point I'm hoping tomorrow's appointment proves that all the activity I've been feeling has been doing something.
Cravings: A meal I didn't have to prepare and sweets
Gender: boy, Baron Michael
GTKY: As of today I started working from home until baby arrives. Once he's here I get 12 weeks of paid leave (thanks to tenure!). As for my husband, he started a new job today so I'm not really sure. This first week would be better because he doesn't have a lot going on beside getting acclimated, finishing some paperwork and getting his gear. Next week is when all the big wigs come in town to start his training. DS1 will continue going to daycare while I'm on leave.
Symptoms: super tired, not sleeping at night, sweating, grouchy, i cried today. Contractions come a lot but aren't as productive. Drs appointment today, cervix is too high to induce. I thought I would be induced tomorrow so after working myself up to the idea it is a big let down.
Cravings/Aversions: none I have actually lost 2 lbs since last Thursday
Gender? He is my little man, Aiden Christopher
GTKY: What are your plans for maternity leave? Does your SO get to take any leave? I'm on leave now planning on going back in November...if there is still a spot, legally there is, but I feel like I've been pushed out of a job. My boss promoted two people to two different positions I have been waiting for the last 2 years after I left for maternity leave, so since I didn't have the job beforehand he legally didnt do anything wrong just morally, as I was in line for either position. My husband only gets 5 days off.
