Twatwaffle Tuesday (or, today's special....Douche Poodle)....9/08

We are all crazy hormonal and sleep deprived ladies, so I know we all have some giant Twatwaffles or Douche Poodles to nominate in our lives today. Let's hear it!

  • I nominate my twat as my twat waffle...having to go to the doctor today with a possible infection in my stitches with a uti to boot. 10 days PP and hubby went back to work. Fun day. :|

Yikes, hope your day gets better soon!!
  • I'll nominate my left nipple.
So far, breastfeeding is going swimmingly and we've had no issues with latching or anything along those lines. However, my left nipple has really started stinging lately! I'm 99% sure we are latching correctly and that that isn't the issue. My nipple is just a twatwaffle. Starting to think that whoever said, "breastfeeding shouldn't hurt" has never had their breasts sucked on every 2-3 hours for days on end...

DD will be 4 weeks Thursday. BFing has been so easy for us. My right nipple got pretty wrecked when she was learning to latch at the hospital and wouldnt take my left, but it healed and never happened again. The past 2 nights my left nipple is stinging like crazy out of nowhere too!!! Our poor left nipples! :(
  • I would like to add my memory. I can't remember anything. DH is getting really annoyed and I feel really bad. Its not like I have a lot to do, but I am constantly needing to stop what im doing to go feed, change, or soothe DS. And then I am tired and the couch calls to me and then I nap.

    This ^

Also, the ac in my car sucks lately. It doesn't get very cold and DD got really hot the other day and screamed. It made me feel awful.
  • I have to nominate myself. I'm convinced that my "pregnancy brain" was replaced by an even worse "newborn mom brain." I pumped and then DS started crying so I had the brilliant idea to leave the bottles, full of liquid gold, hooked up to the pump on the couch. I picked up DS, soothed him, and forgot all about the milk I had left on the couch. Fast forward 30 minutes, I remembered that I had left the milk on the couch and discovered that it had turned over and spilled in the crack between the couch cushions. Not only did I lose half of the milk I had pumped but now my couch will probably smell like dried breastmilk.
  • @Miz_Liz I have. That was the first thing I thought of. My eye sight is just going bad.
  • I've been waiting for your announcement, GL can't wait to c your announcement and pics.

@raelynch87 sorry to hear about your kitty. I would be lost without mine too :(

Edited because its 3am and I can't see to type
  • I would like to nominate my dog. For some reason he has decided to shit on the floor the past two nights. Needless to say he will be sleeping outside from here on out.
  • Nominating our cat! He will be officially re-homed. I feel terrible, he's the sweetest but he was our first "child", then we got a dog 4 years ago and hates her and our dog tries so hard to be friends. He pees everywhere outside of his litterbox and tonight did so on a blanket in the baby's room so clearly he's not tolerating the baby either. He's never done something this bad. We feel terrible but he deserves to be in a pet free home or cats only home as we know he does well with other cats. I'm sad about it but know it's the right decision. He's still a twatwaffle for peeing on the blanket though, nothing boils my blood more because you can't get that smell out!
  • @hcook321 if you can get Natures Miricale, they make a special one for cat pee. That should help. My cats pee when they are stressed (and usually on the couch) and I find that's the only thing that works. I also recommend phermone diffusers at the start of a life changing event. It has stopped their "accidents".

I second natures miracle! Available at any pet store! I had to use it when someone I know sleep walked and peed in my living room! =)) the look on the pet store guys face when I said "will it remove human pee? I really wish I could blame the dog here but I can't. It wouldn't be fair to the dog"

But I've also used it when I stayed with my grandparents and they have a wiener dog who pees on everything you set on the floor. He is neutered and housebroken but will pee on everything! It worked, no more smell or stain :)
