Long weekend frustrated - out of meds and will miss 2 doses ...

Hi,

I haven't been on here in a long while.  I'm cycling and in the two week wait my FET was on the 26th. 

I got a number of bfps on my frer and I went for my first Beta on Saturday, but can't have my next draw until Tuesday and wont' know any results until Wednesday.  We all know nothing is for certain until you see those numbers. 

Problem is I forgot to refill my progesterone prescription and because it's a long weekend I can't get my hands on the meds until Tuesday.  I ran out yesterday so I will miss 2 doses. 

I thought I'd pop in and see if any of you had any experience.  Anyone have a a similiar experience that might know if this is a huge problem?

    Yikes, no, I haven't experienced this. Do you have a low progesterone issue? I do so for me it would be a huge deal. My body doesn't produce enough progesterone. Are you out of refills or just unable to fill it because the pharmacy is closed?

    I don't know if I have low prog. They never test for it up here, that I experienced. It's just part of the protocol I follow after FET.

    I have 150 refills but forgot to pick them up.

    I only ordered enough to get me to Saturday the day of my first beta (because it's such an awful feeling when it fails and you have all these left over meds.) but I stupidly forgot that it was a long weekend and I'd have to wait 4 days to get the results.

    Nothing I can do about it now I guess.

    This is a better question for the Pregnant After IF board. But IMO, call your RE and leave an emergency message. GL.

    I'm no expert but I think unless you have low progesterone you should be fine. I feel like most of the time they are prescribing it to us as a precaution, not because we actually need it.

    I think most people that have had IF issues do still post here. I do anyway. By now you have taken care of it. Hope all is well.
