This is a weekly check-in for those in their 2nd trimester: weeks 14 through the end of week 27.
Congrats to all the strong ladies who have made it this far! It's such a great feeling and we've all accomplished so much! We are now 1 week closer to the end of this epically long journey we call "infertility".
Please post below a little about yourself, how many beans you have growing inside, if you have found out the sex(es) and what your EDD is. Please also let us know how far you've made it on your journey and when your next appt is and what for.
QOTW: Since it was a long weekend for most of us and today is Labor day in the States, did you do anything fun with your extra day? For anyone else who doesn't partake in Labor day, did you do anything fun or exciting this weekend?
(Does anyone have any GTKY questions they'd like me to use in the next couple of weeks? I have been struggling coming up with good ones!)

Re: ***2nd tri check-in 9/7/15***
Nothing too new here. We have an appt this Friday that was originally just a checkup with the doctor but after baby A, our little girl, refused to look at the technician for our anatomy scan, we will also have a repeat ultrasound to try and measure her face and nasal bones. I'm definitely not too upset by that! We are going to ask the technician if they can also try to show us each of their pelvic regions. When we did the a/s, we chose not to look and get surprised with a photoshoot documenting us finding out the sex via balloons in boxes set up by my mother. So now I just want to double check that each has what they say they have down there.
I see one of my doctors every 2 weeks and this is my off week. I've weaned down to the lowest dose on my Zofran pump- the next step is getting OFF! I've made it to the halfway point of a singleton pregnancy, which means I am closer than halfway! I'm so nervous about the uncertainty of how long these guys will stay in. I think I will feel better when we reach viability.
DH finished painting the nursery Friday and put the cribs together yesterday. I curled up in the snoogle on the floor and supervised. With all three cribs, there is just not as much room as I thought we would have. It is going to be packed. Our house was just finished last October- obviously we did not plan for triplets
) But there are tons of people who do more, with less- and I am trying to keep that attitude!
@mrsbwivf that is so sweet DH saw the baby move- and you didn't feel it?! I am waiting on kicks and kicks, but these three are having more fun kicking each other and not me. It is rather uncomfortable when they flip or twist.
@knottie4978096 Glad you screenings went well!
Two years, two losses and three IUIs...
We are having TRIPLETS!
EDD 1/26/16
GGB born November 2015!
My OBs office appointments fill up fast so I decided to schedule our anatomy scan and its on my birthday!! 9-28! Can't wait to get a peek between the legs and really see no tangle parts! Still can't believe there is a girl in there and when we leave that apt I am making DH let me announce the name! @MrsBwIVF I am soooo on your wavelength! I have a home Doppler and finally at 16 weeks can find it super fast and I think I keep feeling flutters!!

@Kelley421, I felt the movement, it was huge! Haha I actually made a loud grunt while the pastor was talking. I felt it but he saw it all happen and was elated that I hadn't seen movement before.
We are also anxiously awaiting 24 weeks for a higher viability rate, only a few more days to go!
I love that we both got our nurseries painted and the last cribs put together this weekend! When I finished the second crib this afternoon and DH came in to help move it into place, it was such a surreal moment. Having them side by side was a huge "holy cow! There's two!" moment. I cannot imagine seeing three next to each other!
We spent the weekend with family for the first two days, and I had them help me start to assemble the baby book with all of our sonograms. It took me two weeks to piece together an announcment; it was so much fun watching everyone's excitement over our little man! Most of mine and my husbands family are girls, so we really shocked them all with team blue
Anatomy scan went well baby looked great! Is it wierd I can tell he looks like my husband? My husband has really pouty lips and the baby has the same for sure.
My fluid was too high so they got me all worried about GD and told me to start watching my sugar intake. I was surprised as I am actually a healthy eater, but did realize that I was going for sweeter healthy choices like loads of fruit and my guilty pleasure has been ice cream. Went back today for blood test and my blood sugars where very good and insulin response was too. So doc was happy! This doc was questioning my other docs protocol and why he took me off the metformin, I have PCOS and therefore had some insulin problems pre pregnancy and she said although docs are spilt on this she would never have taken me off of it. Never good to hear these things and has my husband and I really thinking about how much trust you have to put in your docs protocol at the time.
Hematoma is still there which upset me but its shrinking and healing so docs were positive.
This weekend was like any other here although elections are around the corner which makes being in town a little crazy with loads of rally's and blocked roads for demonstrations. I have my brother visiting though which was great fun and am enjoying showing him life in East Africa.
I got to spend some time outside this weekend. It was lovely. Today we went to BBQ with some friends, I am really not ready for the long weekend to be over.

It was great having hubby around so much during the long weekend, he did work from home a bit but spent lots of quality time with me and DD1. On Labor Day we went to my MIL's, she has a pool and it was our first time taking DD1 into a pool. Fun stuff.
I am all confused by my due dates. I am 40 weeks on 2/22. My doc says that she won't let me go past 38 weeks with the twins so that is 2/8. However, she also said most twins are born at 36 weeks which is 1/25. I have too many date options. Lol
