Bassinet to rock n play?

So we have the halo bassinest bassinet with all the bells and whistles. LO had been sleeping fine in it the first 3 wks but now this past week, everytime we put her in it, she wakes up, gets cranky, screams goes nuts and eventually after keeping me up almost the entire night, falls asleep. I notice that she sleeps pretty good in her swing downstairs but I can't leave her down there #1 and #2 I can't bring the heavy swing upstairs since there is no room for it since her stuff is taking over our house. And people don't generally let their LO's sleep in swing anyways right? I was thinking maybe a simple rock n play might be a good alternative? Does anyone let their LO's sleep in one overnight? They're made for that anyway right? I'm just so desperate for sleep and it looks like the halo bassinet will have to be returned =/
She has a nursery of course but I'm not putting her to sleep in there till 5 months or so.

Yes. My LO sleeps in a bassinet and rock n play and swing. Whatever helps her sleep at night I use.

My LO is using a rock n play for sleeping at night. The incline is really good when she spits up and she sleeps more soundly in there rather than the bassinet

Same story. We have the nicest halo bassinest but LO could already roll on her side when she was 4 days old so we have her sleep in the rock n play. She loves it!
