  Short Answer: Yes.

  
  

  Long Answer: OPKs detect a surge in the Luteinizing Hormone. This happens up to a few days BEFORE ovulation. Also, a hormone surge can occur at times when ovulation did not occur soon after. It is almost definite that you ovulated AFTER the positive OPK, if not at a different time altogether. Also, HPT do not measure the amount of HCG in your urine, but the mere presence. The darkness or faintness of a line doesn't mean much.  I don't believe there is any reason for you to be worried.

  Yes, it's possible to get a positive OPK and not actually ovulate when it predicts. All an OPK does is measure the hormone that is released prior to ovulation -- it doesn't CONFIRM ovulation.
  
  That being said, how dark the lines are on your pg test does not indicate "how pregnant" you are. I've never gotten a dark line with either pregnancy, no matter how many dpo I was.

  Thank you so much lalala2004, I didn't realize how nervous I was going to be!  I think you're right.  I think I ovulated about a week after the positive OPK.  When I think of it I do remember getting the pinching pain again later on and I questioned implantation.

  Thank you Kmalls, that helps me feel better!  I just have to convince my DH the color is ok now.  Poor man is petrified!

  @LovePup17 - it's definitely a guy thing, they need "proof." And after suffering a loss I don't blame either of you for being freaked out!
  
  Could you go out and buy a digital test? My DH wasn't convinced last time around until he literally saw the word "pregnant."
