  I always use a cover but I was at Costco this week and she got hungry... So I nursed her in the Moby wrap while walking around. It was a bit awkward but worked in a pinch. I imagine it would be easier if my boobs were three cup sizes smaller.

  Is it weird that im kind of looking forward to whenever my first public feeding happens. Im ready to just whip a boob out, but youre braver than me bc I wont in front of my FIL for sure. Strangers, however, for sure! Lol

  My FIL is really sweet about it, he made a point to tell me early in that he enjoyed (not the word he used, I forget his exact wording, but that was the point) seeing his sister in law nurse her kids when he lived with his brother for a while. He went out of his way to make sure I knew he was cool with it, which really helped.

  Sesame place just this past week with DD2, and oddly enough of I'm remembering correctly I'm pretty sure sesame was the first time with DS too. DD1 I never really nursed in public public, we'd usually sneak off to the car.

  I've nursed LO in the car several times while we were traveling and in the mothers room at babies r us. That's as far as I've getting in terms of B-Fing in public.

  I don't feel comfortable showing my breasts to strangers in public, breastfeeding or not. I go to the car to feed her if I'm out.

  And a pic. Because for me it took actually seeing others NIP before I was confident enough to try it (hence why DD1 always got fed in the car).

  I am all for nursing in public and wondering when our first experience will be. DH goes back to work on Monday so DS and I will be doing a lot more outings on our own and I'm confident the occasion will arise! Good for you ladies!

  Hmmm this week it's been church, my mother's house, the hospital, hearing clinic, and the park. Baby likes to eat Side note: I find that if you don't make a big deal about NIP, no one really notices or cares.

  I nursed her while walking around Target. I had my sister tuck an A+A blanket under the strap of my tank and I held her and finished my shopping! Kid passed out in my arms and I got what I needed from Target

  The first time I publicly BFed DD was in a busy park. I was using a nipple shield and a cover and I was so nervous I ended up injuring my nipple in the process... Thankfully it eased up and I became quite proficient at whipping out a boob discreetly. Haven't done DS yet but I'm mainly pumping so far, so once we get back on the boob train and I'm comfortable with latching him on at home, I'll get back into public BFing... Which will make getting out and about much easier!

  I don't think I'm coordinated enough to do it discretely in public even if I wanted to. I'll be one of those who has to go to a room or the car.

  To be fair, I wouldn't have been able to do it without my sister. She pushed the cart for me and pulled things off the shelves!

  Yeah... I had DDD's before I even got pregnant or my milk came in. No public best feeding for this mama. But I wish my boobs weren't so large and hard to navigate so I could!

  Haha I did this exact thing! I ran into a girl I know and she asked to see the baby... I was like, "well, she's attached to my boob right now..." Lol she had no idea I was even feeding her.

  First time was at my parents with lots of family around.. So public? Kinda? But it was the first time my son saw me and it was so funny. I had a light cover over me and he walks over and says, "where did jack go?" And I said he is under the cover.. He then proceeds to lift the cover and goes "ewwwww yuck!"   I fed little Man at a farmer's market yesterday. My parents have a booth so we sat in their trailer with my back to the door. I feel a little uncomfortable, but I'm not about to let little guy get hungry!

  Nurses DD at the aquarium past weekend. Sat down in the jellyfish room and nursed her. I did use a cover, but only because it was cold. I am all for feeding without a cover, just haven't done it yet.

  Lol yesterday I answered the door for my MIL with baby on my boob. I also nurse in the car anytime we go anywhere.

  A restaurant with DH a few days ago. He wanted to go to the ocean and have lunch so we did. I figured the ocean was a place where an accidental nip slip was acceptable. I used my scarf cover as LO still likes to pull off a few times before he gets settled. I couldn't eat since my meal required to hands (bad planning) so once I was eating, the waitress was making jokes about him being done and letting me eat. I'm sure DH would have been all over any one making comments, but it was all good!

  I nursed DS at the movies. We went the Monday school started back to see Straight Out of Compton. There were about four other people there but I just whipped my boob out since it was dark B-)

  I've done it everywhere this time around. The zoo, in the carrier at the Shedd aquarium, on a bench in downtown Chicago, my sons bday party last weekend, my cousins baptism party today. It's just been so hot and I finally realized it's just so much easier than trying to maneuver with a cover lol. I was never super shy with LO number 1 but this time I just don't care. The only time I cover is in front of other people's kids because it's not up to me if I want them to see that or not.

  I'm trying to cover all the time, but it's hard when you are new at it. So far I've nursed at the birth certificate place and the hospital when we took her in. It's hard and most covers are so hot! I wish I was skilled (and brave) enough to just whip out a boob and feed her!
