Light Red Spotting, Is it the start of labor?

So this might be tmi but I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped it was a light red, I'm 9 months pregnant. I read online that it's the start of labor, is that true?

    Yes, it could be your cervix dilating. That happened to me with DS, but mine was a lot more than light spotting, so I went straight to the hospital. If you're concerned, call the doctor.
