CBE weeks estimator test

So I've tried all week to find the test with no luck. Then today I find the last one on the shelf only to be told they can't sell it to me because of a recall. I haven't been able to find anything online about a recall. Does anyone know about the recall?

A federal judge ruled something about false advertising.

Pretty much their customers don't read the insert in the box and don't add the extra 2 weeks to their result? I mean who would go by the date on a pregnancy test and not listen to their doctor. haha

I knew it would result in people not reading the results correctly. There is always some one.

  • I have never used them myself, but I felt like it was really confusing and silly how the weeks estimator was from date of ovulation, and not from LMP. Like, it isn't possible to be 1 week along. Implantation would not have even occurred yet. Also, HCG varies so greatly from woman to woman, I don't really see how it can be all that accurate.

As far as false advertising goes, if you really want to take the packaging literally, FRERs would have to be pulled off the shelves, too, with that "6 days sooner" nonsense. If you have a 12 day LP, for example, and implant at 9 DPO, you wouldn't get a positive test until at least 12 dpo, which would only be one day before AF, not 6. And according to FF, the average woman doesn't get a BFP until .5 days before AF.

Cheapie (not even Wondfo brand...an easy@home brand...) had a stronger positive for me at 9DPO than the FRER did.
