4 weeks and a day after Vivian was born, I finally nursed her in public for the first time today-- in the middle of Arlington National Cemetery, without a cover (too hot! plus, just no) in front of my father-in-law. And we survived. If I can do that, I can do anything!!
What was your first public bfing experience? Any good disaster stories?
Re: Adventures in public breastfeeding
It's seriously no big deal at all. Go for it ladies!
To be fair, I wouldn't have been able to do it without my sister. She pushed the cart for me and pulled things off the shelves!
@SassetteSmurfling, do you live near Sesame? I works there for 6 years!

Yeah! About 10 minutes away
We are about 20 mins. away!
Small world!
I'm trying to cover all the time, but it's hard when you are new at it. So far I've nursed at the birth certificate place and the hospital when we took her in. It's hard and most covers are so hot! I wish I was skilled (and brave) enough to just whip out a boob and feed her!
