I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good baby monitor. I've been looking for one that comes with a video screen but that you can also access from a smartphone. Any suggestions?
I got the home security one recommended in this blog post and I love it! Less than $70 on Amazon. Two way talking, app on your phone, ability to record, adjust camera angle from your phone, night vision...
If you get a video monitor, read the manual. You HAVE TO change the password info. If you don't, your monitor can be hacked and strangers can watch your baby and home. There are even stories about these hackers talking to your baby!
I am using old school 2way monitors for this very reason!!
We registered and received a really nice 7 inch touch screen, dual camera Moterola monitor (pricey though at $280) but I specifically chose one without the wi-Fi function to avoid those hacks that have been happening. Although baby isn't here yet we do like the monitor so far just playing with it!
We got an angel care monitor. We opted not to get one with video capabilities, but they do have them. We obviously haven't used it yet but it's gotten really good reviews from friends who have had the same brand.
@ameares721 do you like it, even though there isn't a separate monitor- your phone is the only option? Was it easy to sync up to your phone? I have as samsung galaxy.

Thats the one we registered for(and I registry peaked an someone purchased!). I read tons of reviews for it as well. My husband is all freaked about about the video monitors and the ones w/WIFI so we went this route.
A baby monitor with both a video screen and smartphone access can give you peace of mind and flexibility, especially when multitasking around the house. Options like Nanit or Infant Optics are reliable choices many parents prefer. Just like choosing the right features in a monitor, small upgrades can matter when you decide to <a href=https://patelbuyshomes.com ">Sell your house</a>
If you’re set on using your phone, there are definitely wifi options out there, but just sharing in case you’re open to non-wifi. We went with the ergopouch monitor and I actually prefer it. It has its own screen, the picture is clear, and I like knowing it’s more secure since it doesn’t connect online.
