DS is 2 weeks 1 day and has been rolling over all day. I put him down for tummy time and he keeps turning into his back... Has anyone else experienced this with their LO?
Mine is doing this too! Pediatrician just said it means he has nice strong neck and arm muscles, but doesn't necessarily mean he'll be crawling/walking ahead of schedule (though he could!). Basically it's just another instance of "every baby develops differently".
DS 1 rolled at a day old in the hospital and continued to do so. but couldn't roll back to stomach till 10 months, crawl till 11 or walk till 15. DS 2 rolled once at 2 weeks but not since.
DD rolls to her side when I put her flat on her back in the crib and looks like she is going to roll over. >_<
I agree it is no indication of when they will walk or crawl. DD1 was average on rolling and not really army crawling until 7 or 8 months but she started walking unassisted at 8.5 months.
Yup! Ours was rolling the first time we put him on the floor (it was 2 weeks one day). As soon as I set him on his belly, he rolled right over and has done so frequently since
Mine is just starting to roll. But as soon as she was born she picked up her head. She now likes to stand on my legs. She's a month old. I am so excited to see how fast she starts to do other things
