  • No, baby will only take from you what the baby needs.
  • This is your 3rd time... What did you eat before? If it affected kids at all, my daughter would have been born a cheeseburger and her name would have been Wendy's. I'm sure you're fine. I eat mostly junk, and I take a Flinstone vitamin everyday to make up for what I am not getting in food.

That cheeseburger comment is amazing I love it
  • If you're eating a ton of sugar or carbs yes it can effect baby, even if you passed your GD test. I passed and ended up with it towards the end. I didn't know and just indulged. Baby was large and had poor muscle tone and lots of feeding issues.
  • To a certain extent, main thing is it can't get what you don't eat/have. So I think most important thing if you don't eat ton of veggies and stuff is to take your prenatal regularly. My baby is on small side and I don't like eating a ton of meat so i also try to get extra protein. However though only 1 doctor out of like 4/5 has mentioned my diet or weight as it relates to baby being small telling me to eat more protein.
  • I do not condone it whatsoever and feel lucky but with my first I ate rubbish all day every day, sweets, choc, ben and jerrys, fries etc and gained over 75lb, my baby was only 7.14 and i had no health issues whatsoever neither did he! As i said i wouldnt recommend it tho it was really hard to lose and wouldnt have done any good
