We were invited to a labor day bbq on sunday but I'm hesitant to go. First, I certainly don't feel like being in a bathing suit and I will have to take DD in the pool (she is 2). Second, as soon as my friends and family see me without a glass of wine they will know what's up. Third, I'm just really tired lol. DH offered to take DD to the party so she can have fun with her cousins. I might take him up on that offer!
Anyone else feel like laying low this weekend? Or at least until you are ready to make the big announcement?
Re: Feeling anti-social?
I want people to know on my time and not be outed early.
I say do what you want. Send DH and chill with a movie at home

Yesterday we had plans to go out to a happy hour with a bunch of people from work that we had planned a few days before we found out but luckily everyone ended up canceling. I was pretty worried about what people would think about me not drinking while we were there.

We made it through that, but we have a huge cookout with my husband's family tomorrow and I just can't. I was almost weirdly relieved when my son started coughing because now I can stay home with him because he is "sick". Yup, Mom of the Year over here!
