  • Week: 10 (man that prune is ugly)

    Symptoms/Concerns: gas, dizziness and weakness

Rants/Raves/Stories: had my first nurse appt yesterday. Pretty much a waste of time for a STM, but I understand why it's their policy. I can't wait for the 14th to get to meet with my new OB (mine moved) and get to hear that little HB!!

Questions: Anyone deal with IUGR (now apparently called FGR) in previous pregnancies?

GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? I'm super excited for college sports to be back. We live in our college town and love watching football and going to the volleyball games as a family. It's not quite as fun now that we don't know the players (a few friends played while we were in school) but it's still pretty exciting. Plus not 85+ degrees outside. :)

  • We're a blueberry!! (Week 7) and our first U/S is Wednesday :)

Symptoms/Concerns: the nausea hit with full force today, very similar to my previous pregnancies :(

GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? I love the changing colors and cooler weather that fall brings. I'm totally ready to breakout the fall/winter wardrobe, lol.

  • I'm a Sunday ticker changer. Our posts are kinda small too!

    Week: 8!
Symptoms/Concerns: I had lost weight at my midwife appointment on Thursday (I was already underweight). So they prescribed me diclegis to keep me from throwing up. My nausea is mostly gone which is awesome!!
Rants/Raves/Stories: got my ultrasound on Thursday!
Questions: I know diclegis will make you tired, but did anyone else who's taken it start to get used to it?
GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall?
Fall is my favorite season to dress in. I love all of the boots, scarfs and sweaters

Week: 6 Symptoms/Concerns: lots of bloating and gas. Ugh
Rants/Raves/Stories: my first appointmentis wed, then they'll schedule an u/s after that. I'm hoping to squeeze it in Thurs or Friday. I'm just anxious to see my baby.
    Questions: nope
GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? I love sweater weather and the colors. We're in New England so the foliage is amazing.

  • Week: 9
Symptoms/Concerns: bloat's out of control, and I'm ready to not have nausea so I can eat healthy rather than whatever sounds good at the time.
Rants/Raves/Stories: had my first uti this last week. Apparently it showed up in my urine at my first Drs appt, but they didn't say anything to me about it until a week later when I called in for extreme cramping. Would have been nice to take care of it before then.
    Questions: no questions this week.
GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? I love the cool weather, we usually open our windows until it gets too cold. Warm soups and chili for dinner, Bon fires, smores, hoodies. Haha a lot.

  • Week: 10 (tomorrow- Sunday)

Symptoms/Concerns: most symptoms have started to dissipate... Still dealing with occasional spotting- so annoying!

Rants/Raves/Stories: my dr seems so non-Chalant about things! Been spotting (brown to red) off and on since 5 weeks- they haven't added any extra appointments or ultrasounds. They say "it's common- unless it's heavier than a period". So annoying!

Questions: I believe I have a SCH since I had one with my first and I have similar symptoms- did anyone have this and have it "worsen" or "bleed more" when constipated?

GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? Pumpkin picking- hay rides :)

Same thing here!!! They saw me 2 Thursday's ago and I guess the results came back on Tuesday! They didn't bother calling me- just. Called in a script! I didn't find out until my pharmacy called me! I then called the doctor so I could figure out what was going on!
  • Week - 7 tomorrow!

Symptoms - Nausea, sore nipples, fatigue (partially due to taking phenergan for aforementioned nausea), and hot flashes that are driving me bezerk!

Rants/Raves/Stories - DS is 4 and I feel like so much has changed since I was pregnant with him. New to my area of the country over the past couple of years is these ridiculous, over-the-top, gender reveal parties. Balloons! Paint! Cupcakes! Silly string! Now, don't get me wrong, I think they can be really sweet and exciting whenever the parents are finding out at the same time as everyone else, but that's rarely the case, as they usually already know and are the ones throwing the party. Is sharing over the phone just not good enough anymore? If someone I loved had one and wanted me there, I would go.. but if anybody tries throwing me one, thanks but no thanks.

Questions: Anyone else prescribed phenergan (promethazine) for nausea? I hear much less about that and zofran this time around compared to last. I know diclegis seems to be popular now.. jw?

GTKY: My favorite thing about fall is definitely 'hoodie weather.' I am not a hot weather gal, and here in the Midwest temps got back into the mid to high 90s this week - not feeling much like September yet. I can't wait for a cool fall breeze! And soup! Lots of soup!

    Week:
    10!

    Symptoms/Concerns:
Usual all day nausea and exhaustion. RLP is definitely increasing if I cough, sneeze, or get up too quickly haha. OWWIE!

    Rants/Raves/Stories:
Last week I got to hear my baby's heartbeat for the second time and it was just incredible! Today is the start of my weekly bump pictures. I'm super excited because it makes everything feel more real, but very aware of my bloat and bump right now. Feeling like I shouldn't be showing as much as I am :(

    Questions:
What kind of testing are you opting for? If any at all?

GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall?
Ummm EVERYTHING. I'm so flippin excited about fall. The smells, cool air, leaves turning, fall bakes, halloween, I can't wait.

I started taking diclegis about a week ago and feel much better. I am about as tired as I was before, but without the nausea.

  • Symptoms/Concerns: Throwing up at least 3 times a  day...headaches....
Rants/Raves/Stories: I am 10 weeks and I have the tiniest little bump..it looks bigger this week because I know I am just bloated. My mother in law is already trying to rub my tummy and say you're already showing..-.- its a bloat..not baby. My husband is super exited and it is sooo cute. He wants me to show already..keeps telling the baby to grow.
Questions: When i was just  a couple weeks I use to be soooo hungry, but now that I am always nauseous and the throwing up has continued I haven't been craving or wanting to eat as much. Is this normal?
GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? I LOVE when Florida finally has that wind, but I know that rarely happens. I love smelling  and those earth tone colors. Orange...brown <3
  • Week: 6
Symptoms/Concerns:just the usual: nausea, vomiting, fatigue, bloat and constipation, super smell.
Rants/Raves/Stories: I can't decide if I'm crazy excited or crazy terrified to be pregnant again. We really really thought we were done, and there are a thousand reasons why this is a horrible thing to have happen. But at the same time...how could I not be excited about another baby?! I love babies, like want to attack tiny babies in the store and at the park and squeeze their little legs and kiss their little cheeks and smell their little heads.
Questions: any other home birthers here? My last three were all born at home, and as long as we stay low risk, this one will be too.
GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? Everything!! I love sweater weather and warm autumn colors and Holy gosh SOUP!

  • Week: 9! Symptoms/Concerns: nausea seems to be getting better, but oh my gosh I could sleep 12 hrs a day and still be sleepy! Rants/Raves/Stories: I didn't realize just how WEIRD pregnancy dreams would be! Questions: none! GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? NOTHING. I hate fall, it's my least favorite season. Dreary and wet and not cold enough for snow, but too cold for swimming. UGH. Although I guess @mojomama6 has a point with the soup thing. I'd eat soup any time of year but my housemates frown on it before September.

  • @klingonpixie I will also eat soup any time, but my family is all, but it's too hot for soup! Wah, Wah...
  • Week: 9! (Sunday)

Symptoms/Concerns: Bloat-bump.. Nausea if I let my stomach get empty..

Rants/Raves/Stories: We had our first U/S and heard the heartbeat too this past Thursday!

    Questions: Nah

GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall?
Cooler weather, football, hoodies, sweaters, boots... :]
    Pregnancy Ticker
  • Week: 7 (as of this past Sunday)

Symptoms/Concerns: no change in symptoms since last week (bloating, fun bathroom visits, some soreness)

Rants/Raves/Stories: told my parents we're expecting a few days ago - got my mom's reaction recorded (1st grandchild)

    Questions: not right now

GTKY - Welcome to September - what's your favorite thing about fall? The end of 105+ degree days

    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Week 10 (Sunday); got our official EDD at a dating US on Friday - 4/4/15!

Symptoms - sore boobs/ and a husband who is annoyed with my sore boobs

Rants/raves/stories - we told our families yesterday, which I was really excited about :)
DH had wanted to wait until 20 weeks (paranoid much?!) but then we found out his parents want to go to Florida for the entire month of March, so we figured we should give them a heads up. So we got to do it my way, with our son wearing a shirt that I embroidered with the phrase "promoted to big brother" over FaceTime/Skype calls to our families. Now I can talk about it!

    Questions - none

GTKY - what not to love about fall? Cooler weather, sweaters, apple picking :)

@cmjenkies I think it was a surprise for everyone, they didn't know.  My aunt couldn't understand the premise of the party, either.  She kept looking for "clues" at their house because she was convinced they knew, lol.
