We might be going home!!

My LO has been battling a virus and a heart condition in a hospital a few hours from home for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Although his heart function is still low, the doctors are very happy with his physical progress and assure us that if the inflammation doesn't go away on its own, he can live a totally normal life on medication and do everything any kid can do. We don't know what the future will hold, but are happy that he is stable and healthy right now. They just told us that he may be able to go home tomorrow!!
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We would appreciate you thinking of us in the next few days as well, as hopefully we will return home as a family and return to somewhat "normal" life! Never in a million years did I think we would spend the first month of his life in a hospital and a perfectly normal pregnancy and healthy baby would turn into this. I'm just so grateful for my family and understand now that life is extremely precious. Sorry for the long post! Thanks again
