My temp dropped this morning and I got a BFN.  It looks like this was a chemical pregnancy.  My temp is just above my coverline, so AF will probably come tomorrow. One day late.

I felt so neurotic being worried about having a chemical pregnancy because I had a d&e at 11 weeks last time, about 3 weeks after the heart stopped.  My body had already proven it really liked to hold onto pregnancies.  I guess it wasn't so neurotic after all.  From now on, I'm not testing until AF is late.  Lesson learned.

No more PGAL mantra for me.  Today I am not pregnant.  :-<
TTC#1 since Jan 2015
BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
BFP 8/29/15  •  CP (age 37)
BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    *ugh* I'm so sorry. Try not to get too down. That happened to me the first month we tried and I started on Christmas Eve, ruined my holiday...then we got pregnant my next cycle! I just told myself that wouldn't have been a viable pregnancy, I'm sure it will happen for you very, very soon.

    @PlainJane8350 -- I'm telling myself that it's better to lose it now than later with another d&e. At least my body can bounce back quickly from this.

    My last BFP was over 6 months ago.  I hope the next one comes soon...

    It's disappointing, but they do say that when there's genetic abnormalities it happens when the sperm meets the egg so it makes sense. That period was unusually painful and heavy for me, but like I said the next one stuck! I was depressed and it ruined my holidays, but a healthy pregnancy is definitely worth that wait...once it finally arrives. Just keep taking your vitamins because it will happen soon! Do you use an ovulation app? :)

    @PlainJane8350 I've been using Fertility Friend, temping and using opks, but this morning my husband suggested we take a break from that. I might just follow the every-other-day advice my doctor gave me when we first started. Just for a month maybe, to give myself a break.  We've been at this for over 8 months and it's taking a toll on me.

    If it's wearing on you, then take a break. You always hear about people who quit trying conceiving. My aunt and uncle really quit trying, they decided to adopt, and boom! She got pregnant. I like your husband's advice, let him take you on some hot dates and see what happens!

    I'm sorry!
    After my d&c my doctor told me to hide the calendar and have "fun". She said to step out of the box and get spicy. Maybe it will help.

    AF arrived this morning, as predicted.  I'm adjusting okay.  Still sad, but better than yesterday.

    I like the idea of going on dates with DH and making things spicy.  There have been too many opk readings involved in our sex life.

    @carrieandroy I am so very sorry for your loss.  I think you are on the right track.  We started doing dates, spiced things up, and went with every other day over temping and testing.  It helped us put the fun back in TTC which was MUCH needed. Try and stay positive through this sad time. Keep smiling  >:D<

    So sorry to hear that. I feel like we had our d and c appt just weeks apart. Since then I have had 2 miscarriages and a chemical. We are now pregnant again (they saw twins on my ultrasound) so hopefully this one sticks.
    I am thinking of you and hoping you can stay positive and praying that everything works out for you!

    Wow, @awood04 ... I had my d&e on April 10th.  You got pregnant 4 times since then? That must have been every month!  I'm so sorry you went through so many losses. I really, really hope this pregnancy goes well for you.

    It's so hard for me to be positive right now. I'm 37, I've been TTC for almost 9 months and I've lost 2 pregnancies. This is not how it was supposed to go.
