in April 2016 Moms
so this morning I started bleeding which was turned into spotting. I went into the doctors today and they did an ultrasound the heart beat was 186 which I know is high! They saw a lot of blood around it and I'm having really bad cramps :/ I've had a miscarriage before so I'm very scared. Has someone had something like this and everything was fine or is this leading to another miscarriage?!

    I don't have a ton of advice but did they say what the bleeding was? A subchorionic hematoma perhaps? Do you have a follow up appointment. How far along are you?

    Yeah they told me I had a sub chorionic hematoma last ultrasound and this ultrasound they just said there was a lot of blood. She took pictures all around the baby. I go in sept 16 for my follow up. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow

    I'm really surprised they didn't give you more info. This certainly sounds like a SCH. I believe bed rest is best in this situation. I'll let others chime in on personal experiences. Hope for the best for you and a quick two weeks until your next appointment.

    Yeah I'm surprised too. She just said stay close to home and God bless. But I know some people have had this and have been okay so I'm hoping it goes well. Thank you!

    Ummmm if that's all your doctor said I would switch doctors. Like now. Especially since you've had a mc.

    Yeah my friend said that my obgyn is one of the worst ones. It's called goodman and partridge :( so I'll make sure to find a new one

    When I was pregnant with my now 3 year old, I had a big burst of bleeding at 9 weeks. I was told to go to the ER and they did an ultrasound. Baby was fine and they told me to take it easy for a couple days. It was scary but everything turned out ok. I totally relate to your fears as I've had 3 miscarriages. I second the thought on finding a new doc. Honestly, I'd be on the phone today finding a new one. Praying for you that it all works out okay.

    Dont have much experience but with DD i went in around 20 weeks for the gender reveal and they said there was a lot of blood around her as well. They never said what it was but said it would probably disappear in a week or two. Then later they did another u/s and everything was fine. All the blood was gone and i never had any bleeding so idk where it went even. Good luck and hope all goes well for you!
