It was scary trying it with my toddler!! I can't even imagine how scary it's going to be with a newborn !
Oh it's easier cause they're smaller and less squirmy. Does she have a doll you can practice with? The hard part for me was always making sure I got it right enough. It felt like it sagged if I didn't.
I'm afraid to even try to Moby wrap. SIL swears by them and even made one for her three year old son to carry his baby doll around, he figured it out though so maybe I have hope. It is super cute, by the way. I just don't know if I'll have the patience. Your daughter looks like she's having a blast. Lol

I'm definitely trying out a more structured one this time. With the moby it takes a lot of planning.
I'm not sure if you have a group in your area, but Baby Wearing International has local groups usually on Facebook. In the group I'm in they meet weekly to help moms figure out their wraps and what not. You can also put pictures on the page and they can tell you if it's on correctly. And they also have a cheap membership which comes with the ability to rent wraps and carriers.
LOL! I lost the book with mine. Hoping I can find the instructions online. I can't remember a thing about how to do it other than it took me a while to figure it out and get comfy with it. I have that and an ergo with the infant insert. Which I didn't like until later.
Do you like it at least? I've got the mai tai wrap, but it was a free hand me down. I saw the Moby is looked comfy. PS YouTube has great tutorials for these kinds of wraps.

I lost the book for mine within days of buying it. They have a pdf on their website and I saved it to Google drive so I can always look at it on my phone. *Can you elaborate a little on why you didn't like the ergo until later. I've been really looking at trying to get one this time but feel a little on the fence with the price.
I tried to get my 2 year old nephew in mine and it was like wrestling a greased pig! He was laughing the whole time but wasn't into it, haha! I'm getting it as a hand-me-down from my sister and also a baby björn.
I had a boba with dd and loved it for the newborn/early months stages. But it was difficult to nurse in public with it, and if for some reason I had to takes it off, there was no way to get it back on it i was by myself. Who would hold the baby so I could tie it? Lol. But overall it was amazing and a life saver for my clingy wanting-to-be-held-constantly newborn!! Tying it does get easier, promise! And like pp said, newborns are more cooperative than toddlers

Sure! Honestly, I was never sure I had DD in it correctly. You put the insert in and then, if I remember correctly, they scrunch up on top of it and you have to have their legs in a certain position. I could never see to make sure I didn't have her foot bent funny. She never seemed comfortable in it. Once she was older and could hold her head up it was what I used most of the time. It was easier to take on and off and get her into. I didn't like wrapping and unwrapping the moby and didn't really like keeping it on if we were sitting some place. Just my 2 cents!

Thank you! This kind of fits with what I've heard. I was thinking of trying Ergo carrier for going out and Moby wrap at home (I used one at home a ton with DS early on). I've thought about the k'tan for out since you can wear it like a scarf when baby isn't in it but I feel like the full wrap seems a little more secure.
It looks like you wrapped it right!! I also tried experimenting with my friends baby last weekend, although I have the Solly Wrap. Same idea though so fun!
I'm pretty sure part of my issue is my daughter is at the max weight lol so she made it sag, There's a local baby wearing group that helps new baby wearers that I'm thinking about joining for the extra help!
