FTM\31weeks\REGISTRY MELTDOWN!!!

Hello everyone,
I am a FTM and getting a babyshower was kinda of a last minute surprise. I have already been able to pick out some things (bath items mostly, b/c that was the easiest at the time), but there are so many options for the exact same thing;
Like those little vibrating seats,  the Fisher-Price My Little Snugamonkey Special Edition Deluxe Rock 'n Play Sleeper for example, there are so many of these and do I need one if I get a pack n' play?

Also, I only want to use 1-2 stores, 3 at the max. It was suggested to use Target, Walmart for big ticket items and also b/c the Babies R' Us can be pretty far out for some people, where I live. But what about for clothes? I am bulding a Registry on Target right now and so far I do not like their selection for wash cloths, towels, blankets.  Mostly b/c no one has bought and reviwed them and I learned from my Wedding Registry to buy the thigns that lots of people reviewed.

Do any of you have a suggestion of a store I can build a registry just for clothes, wash cloths, blankets, sheets etc? it doesn't have to be fancy or top, top of the line. I'm looking for comfort for my little one, and durability.

I can't wait to hear from you ladies, thank you so much for taking the time to read and answer my questions :)

Oh! Also, we are having a boy!

    Okay that would be great for those who might have amazon prime or just prefure to buy online. Since there are so many different brands sold on there, do you have a particular one that you find to be reliable/durable and comfortable for your children?
  • Carter's, but I didn't put any baby clothes on my registry since most people will buy what they want to buy you as far as clothes go, no matter what you have on your registry.

    BRU or Kohl's or Target or even Sears is where I've bought most anything that I needed for clothes.

  • I'm using Babylist.com which allows you to register for ANYTHING from ANY store. I couldn't pick just one or two either.

    I'm also doing Target as a backup for the older ladies who refuse to shop online :)

    Thank you Both, I think I will go ahead and use Target for the big things and for those that need a store to go to and then use Babylist and or Amazon for the majority of everything else.
    now I jsut need to decide what brands and all that good stuff! lol
  • You don't need to register for clothes.  People will buy clothes regardless of what specific clothing outfits you put on the registry.
