I know this isn't May 2015 but . . .

I need help from this group of ladies because weve all had our LOs already.

I took a test yesterday and it was positive. But the day before that and that day I was bleeding like I was having my period. It wasn't as harsh or anything but I stopped taking my BC pills to see if I'd start. I was so excited because I didn't want to be pregnant yet ... Again. So I didn't worry about it. But then my boyfriend said "that doesnt mean that you're not pregnant" which is why I took the test.

So what I'm wondering is, what could that mean??? False positive?? Or something bad??

    I would take another test or see my doctor. Sometimes women bleed when an egg is implanting and it could've been a false positive or a early miscarriage. All sorts of things. Either way I would see my doctor about it just to be on the safe side.

    @lestes1121 Yea I'm going to go get another test.. My calendar says I'd be about 7 weeks or so but I've been bleeding for 3 or 4 days now so it may have been a false positive??

    Well when I found out I was pregnant about this time last year, I had bled for a few days. I went to the doctor for a pap-smear a couple weeks later and to get on birth control. I had been having period issues for several months prior so she did a pee test just to make sure I wasn't pregnant. Turns out the bleeding that I had thought was my period was implantation bleeding.

    It wasn't really much of a flow and it was darker in color. Not to scare you!! Just wanted to share! I would definitely take another test or 2 to be sure.

    I had implantation bleeding for 5 days when I was 7 weeks pregnant. The first day was almost like a period. I had an ultrasound done to rule out any issues.

    You could definately still bleed around your period if you're pregnant, get a blood test or an appointment with your gynecologist

    My dr said there is no such thing as a false positive. Idk if that's true or not, that's just what she said.
