Never been so Uncomfortable..... but it is worth it right....

Day 6 of stim for IVF.(only on one type of FSH) very little sleep last night my stomach feels heavy and crampy....laying flat seems to be the only thing helping. But I can't exactly do that at my desk lol...... I hope this is normal anyone else experiencing or have experienced this??? Should I be worried?

    I have to think it's only normal. I'm only on day 4 of stims (only taken 3 days in pm) for a TI or IUI cycle, and I'm feeling some discomfort. I can only imagine how much different it would feel 6 days in for IVF. I would just makes sure you don't notice a decrease in urine or any other OHSS symptoms. I'm sure with monitoring, though, the doctor would tell you something if it looked like you were at risk. When was the last time you went to the doctor for monitoring? When do you go again? I'm hoping everything is progressing well for you!

    TTC since 5/14
    Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)
    Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
    Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN 
    First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN
    6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results
    TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN
    TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts
    BC for 2 weeks due to cysts
    TI - Injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & full dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 10/15 --> 1 mature follicle --> BFN 
    TI - Last attempt at injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + crinone (AM only) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 11/15 --> 3-4 mature follicles --> BFP!! 11/27/15 @ 13dpo (shockingly, actually waited until then to test)

    Beta #1 @ 16dpo (11/30/15) = 1,075
    Beta #2 @ 19dpo (12/3/15) = 3,150
    One baby: Saw heartbeat @ 5w5d (114 bpm; baby measuring 2.3mm)

    It's worth it! It's a painful and time consuming process with an emotional Rollercoaster mixed in. But keep in mind the final destination!
    I know it sucks and seems like it'll never end, but try to keep your heads up! We struggled for years, had losses, even a loss after ivf. I never lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel, and that light is what's important. Now we are 22w4d with twins and honestly, all of the fertility stuff seems like ages ago.
    I have faith you guys can make it through this rough road. Fx for you!

    My second day of stims I didn't think I could keep doing it, I kept on and now I'm 7w with triplets. You're so right, YOU CAN MAKE IT THROUGH! Keep your eye on the prize ladies! FX for all of you-

    At the time I felt like the stims would never end. But now I'm dealing with OHSS and all the symptoms from stims were nothing compared to this. Just like mentioned before, just keep ur eye on the goal. All of this will pass and be all worth it. Hope all goes well.

    I think the constant dosage bouncing is what is getting to me..... the RE said I was on a "baby" dose @ 150u Follistim AQ...over 3 days I was dropped all the way down to 75u then bounced back up this PM to 91.6u I guess they are trying to slow the growing process down.... IDK

    That's exactly what they are doing. I had my dosage lowered after my estrogen went sky high. That worked and eventually it leveled out. Sometimes they are trying to get the eggs closer to same size. So you may have one or two growing too fast and they want the others to get a chance to catch up. Nothing to be concerned about. It's all normal. Good luck!

    @knottie24173360My heating pad gives me a lot of comfort through my stim cramps. My RE said it was safe to use on low or medium as needed. Hope you start feeling better soon!
