Right after I'm healed he wants to try. And I'm like, no way! He thinks because I'm recovering so well that it'll be ok. But I can not handle the emotions again so soon! Plus, I want to actually wear my wedding dress.
How far apart are your kiddos? How did you recover after ward? any advice?
Re: H wants another baby....
Personally I feel like each recovery has gotten progressively harder. DS1 I was fine after a few days, DS2 it took about a week/10 days, and DD I'm 8 days PP and still feeling pretty rough.
Good luck! I know some people want their kids as close as possible and can handle it fabulously. But, for me, I know I wouldn't be able to.

I honestly love the spacing we have! Right now they are 4, 2, and 1 month. DD1 and DS are best friends and play really well together. So far DD2 is fitting in just fine. I'm glad I had them close together. I couldn't imagine going back to having a baby once my kids are school aged. I feel like I've been in constant baby mode for almost 5 years now and now we'll slowly start to transition to "kid" mode with more school and sports and activities and things of that nature.
That said I'm pretty sure we are done. If by chance we decide to go for a 3rd it'll be when DD is at least 2 1/2 or 3 years old and DS is in school.
I absolutely hated being 8/9mo pregnant and not being able/having the energy to do things with DS and play with him. It was heartbreaking to me. So I'm not in the hurry to do it again.
Minnesota! Our daycare costs are oddly some of the highest in the country. I might have been able to find an in home...but honestly just prefer the hours and environment of the center she's going to. Even more scary was that I reserves the last infant spot...in December.

I will be paying $400/week but that's for a nanny in our home so I guess I can't complain too much. Daycare isn't much cheaper tho! Def a factor in having a second!
If DH and I decide to have another, we will probably wait until DD is 1 1/2 or 2 before trying.
Me: 25 | DH: 25
DD: Aug. 15
Where do you live in MN? I live here as well and second the pain of having another child in daycare! We are paying a good 27k-30k for two!
I would LOVE another baby. But I want to enjoy my first baby for her first year before making a move to conceive again... Also, on a financial level, I don't think it'd be a great idea to get pregnant RIGHT THIS INSTANT as my husband would like.
He kills me sometimes lol.
