My sweet boy arrived Aug 27 four days before due date and weighed in at 7lb 13oz My third and final labour!! Little Luan Townes Shanahan is most definitely worth all the pain and big sister and brother are head over heels in love with him. My family is complete. I am so lucky
Alexander Kenneth Gollob was born on 8-27 at 3:43am via CSection, it was the only way he was coming. He was 6pounds 15 1/4oz and 19 1/2inches long. We couldn't be happier to finally have him here!!
Jack James born 8/17 at 9:30pm after 27 hours of labor via emergency csection. 9lbs 4 ounces and 23 inches long. I got stuck at 6cm dilated for 7 hours before they decided that there wasn't enough pitocin in the world to make him come out. I was in the hospital until 8/21 because of complications. He has changed so much already and we are over the moon in love.
Sally Victoria has arrived! 17 hours of labor (didn't feel contractions until they were 5 minutes apart- although I thought I may have felt the first one in line at Trader Joe's. Went home and took a two hour nap to wake up to actual painful contractions. Headed to the hospital only 2 hours later and was already 4 cm). Labor was SO intense- lots of back labor and very painful. Throwing up and contractions at the same time=are you kidding me this is insane. I was so amazed at how my body told me when and how hard to push- that was surprising! Ended up with a baseball sized hematoma down there that had to be drained and sutured, so I'm feeling a little sore but nothing compared to the joy of having our sweet little one with us!
Alastair Rhett born August 27 at 1049 pm. Our 22 inch, 9lb 5oz whopper arrived after 24 hours on oxytocin and over 3 hours of pushing eventually assisted by vacuum. 3rd degree tearing and some hemmoraging on my part, but Alastair never even showed a sign of distress. Happy to get home today and be our little family.
I'm super late on my announcement but I've been so busy loving my little girl! Paisley Lane was born August 18th (on her due date), 8 lbs 4 ounces, 22 inches long. Went in to labor at 11 pm on the 17th, went to hospital at 4 am, first epidural did NOT work so I had to get a second, pushed for 20 minutes and she was here! So thankful for an easy delivery and healthy baby!
Willow Ava was born on her due date of August 29th at 01.26am weighing in at 7lbs 14oz. Waters broke at 11.20pm so rang the hospital as I have group b strep so antibiotics needed to be started asap during labour. Midwife said to make my way in when I was ready as i couldn't possibly be in labour yet. Well by the time I got there half hour later I was a sweating puddle of blood and yuck on the floor of the waiting room. They obviously thought I was overreacting until they examined me and realised I was already 8 cm so rushed me round to delivery. Managed to hold her off to allow one bag of antibiotics to get in and for my mum to turn up who lives 25 mins away. I'm counting myself lucky that i escaped with only a 2nd degree tear. I'm so amazed every time I look at her wondering how in the hell she got out of me. Her daddy is so in love with her so I can see me having trouble in the future with this little girl and I can't wait.
Evelyn Rose was born August 29 at 7:06...one day shy of her due date! She weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 19.5 inches long!
My water broke at home at 7:45, and we were admitted into the hospital at about 10. The plan was to go natural, but after being hooked to pitocin and having it increased throughout the day, I had to tap out. I made it to 9 cm and couldn't take it anymore and ended up with the epi. Immediate relief! I started pushing about 20 minutes later. I was very thankful I got the epi because I had to get a large episiotomy. Less than 12 hours from start to finish for this FTM, and we are head over heels in love. I can't post a pic via the app, but she is absolutely beautiful...more beautiful than we could have imagined.
Our baby girl, Sigrun Maja, born on 8/30 two weeks after her due date. Got induced with vaginal gel at 8 am, water broke (so loudly that husband jumped) at 5 pm, and she was born at 10.23 pm after less than an hour of pushing (got an epidural at around 7 pm, only wish I'd done that sooner!) and a 2 cm tear. She's 7 lbs and 20 inches of beauty and I couldn't sleep all night for staring at her, terrified something would happen if I took my eyes off her!
Ethan David Ayala was born on August 29th at 2:53 am. Friday I woke up nauseas and gassy then he a terrible pain in my right abdomen. After not being able to lay in bed I decided to go to the hospital. After blood work came back the doctor told me I had HELLP syndrome and we delivered via emergency c-section. We recovered all day Saturday and now we are laying together breast feeding. He is so beyond perfect, I can't even describe the way it feels to finally be a mommy!
Charles Sydney Brandon was born on 29 August, one day before his due date and my birthday. My water had been slow leaking for two weeks with non-productive contractions but he decided to break it at 0505 Saturday morning. Labored at home with my DH and doula until heading to the hospital around 1:30 pm. Held off on starting pitocin until 6 pm, but at that point was still only 3 cm. Had pitocin for three hours of burning contractions, and when the nurse checked me, baby was at a positive 2, 100% and fully dilated. I told her I was pretty sure I needed to push about 10 minutes later--she said the doctor wasn't here yet. Ha. I said, well he should drive faster. 10 minutes later after 5 pushes, the doctor caught our 7 lb, 8 oz and 20" long beautiful baby boy. With such great support, I managed a vaginal birth without pain meds. I had minimal tearing and we are doing pretty well breast feeding.
Harlen Howard Pessagno born 8/24 at 5:58pm. 7 lbs 2 oz, 20 inches. Planned natural birth center birth went out the window when my water was broken over 24hrs without going into labor (GBS+). Morning of induction, started labor at home! Arrived at the hospital 4 cm, started Pitocin and reached 8 cm within the hour. Got an epidural to finish transition, pushed him out in less than an hour. Start to finish active labor was 6 hours. So happy with how everything turned out! Still in utter amazement my body was capable of doing what it did, even if it wasn't what I planned! Still feeling like a birthing badass So many beautiful August babes, congrats mamas we did it!
Margaret "Margot" Clare G. was born Aug 30 at 9:52am weighing 6lbs 12oz. She was 3 days late but arrived one day bf a scheduled induction! I starting having regular contractions Friday night. They lasted thru Sat night when they went from 10 min to 5 min apart with a quickness. And damn were they excruciating! I got to the hospital around 10:30pm and was 2 cm. I got the epidural right away and it was wonderful! I was able to sleep most of the night and by the morning was ready to push. One hour later and a 1st degree tear and she was here! I'm healing well and she's nursing pretty good! Going home today!
Rosalie Elizabeth made her appearance at 2:01 a.m. on August 27, weighing 8 pounds 1 ounce and measuring 20.5 inches long. I was 40w6d and scheduled for an induction at 41w1d when I decided to try a castor oil induction, having received acupuncture the day before with absolutely no contractions yet, and not dilated enough for a membrane sweep. Took the castor oil at 12:30 p.m., and contractions started at 7:15, only 3-5 minutes apart. By 9 p.m. my water broke and contractions were 2-3 minutes apart. Arrived at the hospital around 11, already dilated to 4 cm. Labor progressed very quickly for this FTM, but I was able to tolerate it without pain meds thanks to support from DH, my doula and my mom. After 20 minutes of pushing my beautiful girl was born at 2:01 a.m.! I suffered quite a bit of tearing but was able to be stitched up in the delivery room instead of being taken back to the OR for anesthesia for the stitching. Once my fluid levels returned to normal (side effect of the castor oil treatment), I felt just fine. We are so in love with our little miracle, finally in our arms after 4 rounds of IVF. I am so thankful for this natural labor experience, which has restored my faith in my body and its ability to grow and bear a child!
Hi My baby: aisha Gender: girl Born 9th August 2015 EDD: 7th August 2015 Weight: 2,700 grams Natural but they vacuum her
Her head was down but she was hanging up, very far from cervix And the cervix close And there is no contraction And there is no time to wait the amniotic fluid around the baby is low And here movement start being less
They give me pitocine , which caused me painful contraction , and they use a vaginal ballon to open the cervix It was a horrible time I bleed a lot but my water doesn't broke yet I was decided not no take the abidurall but after long night of pain and contraction without any sign of delivering I ask for the abidurall
It's become more better after it Until next day afternoon the baby heart beat become low The doctor said we should deliver her as soon as we can or we will lose her

Madelyn Grace was born August 27th @ 6:16 PM weighing in at 8 lbs 3 oz, and measuring 21 inches long! She came to us after a scheduled induction that went much more quickly than we could have hoped! She is the most amazing little girl, and DH & I are completely head over heals in love.

Quinn Makenzie made her way into our lives pretty quickly last night! After an unfavorable NST at my weekly checkup (since I was 40+5) I was sent to L&D for an immediate induction. Pitocin was started at 615p, my water broke at 730p and at 1226am on 8/25 we had miss Quinn in our arms! She weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces and is 21 inches long! We are definately in love
Pictures to come. My app isn't cooperating today....
I'm late to post this, but our son Stellan was born 8/16 - nine days before his due date. He is perfectly healthy and we couldn't be any happier!! This picture was taken when he was 4 days old.
Baby Jordan was born via emergency c-section due to pre-eclampsia. Born: September 1st 10:06pm EDD: August 27th 9lbs, 2oz of love & cheeks! We are over the moon in love with her!
Sunday I started having contractions around noon. They started and stayed at around 13 minutes apart with a decent intensity. they slowed down around dinner time so I was unsure if we would start my induction Sunday night or not. Hubby and I went to the hospital around 9pm. (the car ride there was hell with the bumps and contractions). the nurse checked me and said I was only 3 centimeters. I was frustrated and said I wanted drugs as all of my contractions were in my hips and rectum and were coming 2 minutes apart. At 10 I request IV drugs to help me relax enough to get an epidural. At almost 11 she gave me fentanyl an checked me, I was at a 6 and my contractions were stacking (I was starting to really lose it). I told her I wanted her to call and get me an epidural and when the hell would the fentanyl start working?? She told me it should be now, but it was doing nothing! She apparently went and called the Dr. in because she checked me at 11:30 and I was at an 8 and she told me labor was going way too fast for an epi. at 12:15 after the most painful labor I have had to date AND much refusal on my behalf to cooperate! (because I WANTED my epi) Amelia Luna Moore was born and has been doing wonderful ever since
29 hours of labor and 5 days late pretty much sums up how stubborn our sweet girl is, but she is finally here and as perfect as can be! Introducing Peyton Claire 8lbs 4oz and 22" long.
Juliet Renee was born at 222pm today at 41.1 weeks. She was 8p 6oz and 20 1/2 inches. I was supposed to be induced starting 9/3 at 41 weeks but due to it being busy on L&D I was wait listed and told to call at 745 am to see if there were any beds. I woke from a dead sleep this am at 440 with my first painful Contraction. Contractions were coming every 2-3.5 min on average. At 640 we made our way to L&D. I was 4-5 and was contracting ever 2 min. Got the epidural around 9. No labor rooms were opened so they didn't want to have me progress and informed us I might deliver in triage. At 930 I was 6-7 cm. at 1215 I started feeling pain again. I was 8 with bulging bag at this point. Finally got a room at 1 pm. Dr broke water at 115. Was complete around 2 and pushed about 22 min. We are in love with our lady who was rather late
My baby boy Arya finally made it to this beautiful world. I was due on August 25th and my Dr. decided to induce me on Sep 3, 2015 as I was 41 weeks and 3 days. But guess what, my water broke on September 3rd at 3 am (I guess he doesn't wanted induction). It was a hell of a ride since then and my little guy was born on September 4th at 2:19 am. He's born healthy and weigh 7.9 lb. so, don't lose your hopes, things can change very fast. Good luck to all the moms!
Little Wyatt was born 9/5 at 12:51am. I was induced 9/4 at 7:00 am I was already 3 cm and 80% effaced and honestly expected a quick delivery. started pitocin at 7:15 and had water broken at 2:30. I got my epidural and waited patiently. At 12 am I was fully dialated and began to push. I was so exhausted I was almost falling asleep between pushes. He is so beautiful. He is struggling a little with breastfeeding but is slowly getting the hang of it. Wyatt was 6lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long
Went to my 37 week appt (August 19) and got sent to the hospital after a second visit to my OB within an hour (both early afternoon). My little boy was born at 10:23 that night at 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 1/2 in. And he was due today.
We welcomed Josiah James on 9/2/15 at 1:42 pm after an induction that morning. 7 lbs 11 oz and 21.5 inches at 40 weeks 3 days. He's the best thing that's ever happened to us and we are so in love.
Jackson Edward finally made his way into this world on 9/3 at 2:11 pm after just over 25 hours of labor. I went in for my 40 week appointment and my BP was very high and they couldn't get it to come down so my doctor sent me over to induce. I was checked in and started pitocin at 1:30 on 9/2, my water broke naturally at 11:30, epidural at midnight. My contractions were coming one right after another and was cutting off oxygen to baby, so we stopped pit and was put on oxygen for 2 hours. Started pit back at 4am and slowly progressed. At noon was dilated to 7 and by 1 I had dilated to 10, nurses had me start pushing at 1:30 and they had to tell me to stop and wait for my doctor to get there. Once she came in, it was only another 5 pushes and my baby boy was here! He's 7lbs 2oz, 21 inches long and has a full head of hair! Weve been home for 3 days now and are still learning each other, he's feeding like a champ though and LOVES to cuddle with daddy.
Gabriella Siena arrived at 3:22am on August 4th, 7 lb 11 oz, 19 inches. She was worth every minute of the 28 hours of labor. My little "Brie" is absolutely amazing.
Everly Claire was born on 8/25 at 3:22 pm. She weighed 8 pounds and was 21.5 inches long. She lost 12% of her body weight during her stay in the hospital due to my milk not coming in and was also jaundiced, so we had to stay in the hospital for five days. She gained two ounces once we started supplementing with formula and after treatment under the bililite we were able to go home. Just had her two week appointment today and she is up to 7 pounds 14 ounces, so she has gained 14 ounces since we left the hospital. Just two ounces until we are back up to birth weight!
Rylee Amber was born Sept. 3rd after a two part induction. I was 40w.5d. And I went in for my regular check up on Sept. 2 expecting them to schedule an induction sometime the next week, but they wanted to get it started that night! We began cervadil around 7 pm, I was 0cm and not softened. I was having regular contractions every 20-30 minutes but no other progress. The next morning I was 1.5 cm and started pitocen around 9 am... After a pretty uneventful morning, around 6 pm I started feeling the pain and I went from 6cm-9cm in 20 minutes. After pushing for 40 mins my beautiful girl arrived at 7:21 pm- 6lbs 15 oz! FTM and I managed without the epi. We're so in love I would do it all over and over again just to hold her!
