Mucus plug seems never ending

Im 39 weeks and 2 days and i initially started losing my mucus plug about 2 weeks ago. And its been coming out more and more almost everyday. Some times in big blobs and sometimes small. Not sure how big a plug is supposed to be but seems like mine is never ending. Theres never any blood so far. I know you can lose your plug bits at a time but for this long??

I've been loosing peices of my plug since 36 weeks and I am currently 40.5 weeks now. It can and often does regenerate too so that could be happening for you.

My mucus plug came all at once, it was about the size of a clementine, with a big blob of blood in it. My sister lost hers over the course of 4 weeks and had to be induced still.
