My baby moves her head left to right pretty quickly (kind of like Stevie Wonder). She has started to do it in her sleep. What does that mean? She is only 2 months old, but responds to sounds, follows you with her eyes, etc.

Sounds like rooting to me too. DD does this in her sleep when she's hungry but doesn't actually open her eyes or cry unless I ignore it for awhile.

Mine does that too, when she is awake and sleeping. Personally, I think it's just her being adventurous.
