I posted about this on another thread but is anyone up for a Facebook group for those of us that are left? Our numbers have dwindled and I go through periods when I forget to check the board since there aren't many new posts. I think there is one for the accountability group so someone may know more about creating a group than I do. From being on the one for the O14 BMB I can tell those that are concerned about privacy that people can only see what is public on your profile unless you specifically add them as a friend and then they see everything your friends see. Another advantage is that our HDBD photos are only viewable by the group and not anyone that wants to check out this board.

The accountability thread has kind of become that, like posting Halloween pics. But, if we wanted a separate one, I'd be ok with that too. I think one of us doesn't have FB though (can't remember who... Maybe it was someone on my other BMB) -- I'd hate to lose someone.

If the accountability group members are okay with it we could all join that group as an alternative to creating a separate group. Would hate to lose someone as well. If that person where up to it they could create a basic Facebook profile just for the group. It's kind of the same as having to login here. I guess I'm thinking this board will get quieter and quieter as new LOs come and I'm hoping to find a way to keep in touch with all you ladies.

I would be interested in that, but I'm not in or interested in the accountability group.

Also, if you make a FB group secret, then only members of the group can see what you post to the group (such as pictures). I'm not sure about if you make a group "closed."

Edited to add: I don't really post pictures here, though, so my opinion on that should definitely weigh less than those of you who do!

Okay, it seems like there is a decent amount of interest. I'll try to figure out how to create a group. If everyone is okay with it, I think it's good for it to be secret so we can feel comfortable asking questions without our other FB friends seeing it.

Okay, I created a private group which was easier than I thought. I would have used the badge as our cover photo, but I couldn't find the large version. It looks like you either need to add me as a FB friend or give me your email address for me to add you. You can delete me as a friend if you want to after I add you to the group. @ExcitedAunt2b‌ you are already added since you are already one of my FB friends. I sent everyone else a private message with my FB name. It's easy to find me on FB.
