Sore Nipples...

I am 5 weeks PP and we've been nursing without the nipple shield for almost 3 weeks. Does anyone still have sore nipples? It seems like mine haven't rly toughened up yet. I try not to let her pacify to save them from feeling sore. I have no cracks or bleeding. They're just red. I have an oversupply and do get engorged often so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Hoping this is normal. I'm pretty sure she is latching well too. Is it normal to still get engorged as well?

I use nipple cream after almost every feed to keep them good, if not they do get sore

Mine are the same, and I also try to use nipple cream after nursing.

Just be careful- I ended up with mastitis after similar symptoms. If you get a fever and start feeling fluish and/or notice any redness on the breast get to your doctor asap.
