  I've got an Oricom camera with video and sound and I love it!
  
  I'd be so uncomfortable with a sound only monitor. Little one makes a lot of grunting and grumpy noises when she is babbling and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between her having a chat and cueing for a feed.
  
  Pros
  - video & sound
  - adjustable sound sensitivity
  - camera zoom
  - lullabies
  - talk to baby through parent unit
  -nightlight
  - automatic night vision
  - excellent battery life
  
  Cons
  - Camera only has preset zoom/no flexibility
  - controls are confusing at first/not straight forward
  - short range between monitor and parent unit

  I have this Motorola monitor and love it. It shows the temp, you can turn the volume down all the way without turning it off and it has a long range.
